Miss Turkey Organization has officially revealed on Wednesday, September 14 the Top 20 finalists for the Miss Turkey 2022 pageant. The official finalists were selected out of more than 100 aspirants that were invited to the pre-qualification round that took place yesterday. Who will be the next Miss Turkey World, Miss Turkey Universe, and Miss Turkey Supranational? The Miss Turkey 2022 grand coronation will be held on Tuesday, September 20 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. At the end of the event, last year's winners Dilara Korkmaz, Cemrenaz Turhan, and Şira Sahilli will crown their successors who will represent Turkey at the next Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Supranational editions. Over 100 eligible applicants turned up for the pre-qualification round of the Miss Turkey 2022 competition on Tuesday, September 13 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. From this round, the special jury will select only 20 beauties who will move on to the camp process and the grand final next Tuesday, September 20 at the same venue. The Miss Turkey Organization has yet to announce the names of the Top 20 official finalists. Just like every year, the winners of this year's competition will represent the country at Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Supranational pageants. The country's most prestigious beauty pageant has been sending Turkish representatives to the world's largest competitions including Miss International since 1980. One of the remarkable winners is actress and dancer Azra Akın who won Miss World 2002. Malaysia's representatives for Miss World 2022, Miss Supranational 2023, and Miss Grand International 2022 have been selected during the HyperLive Festival Malaysia 2022 on Saturday, August 27 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Malou Peters, 20, from Næstved, bested 32 other beauties to be crowned Miss Danmark 2022 on Sunday, August 28 at the Shiny Star in Valby, Copenhagen. Maja Bach and Zaara Naaz Ahmed were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Cecilia Matine Larsen and Victoria Arvin Lautrup completed the Top 5 finalists.
