LIVA Miss Diva 2022: Divita Rai to represent India at Miss Universe 2022


The LIVA Miss Diva 2022 grand coronation ceremony that took place on Sunday, August 28 at the Famous Studios in Mumbai unveiled three new Indian queens.

Divita Rai, a 24-year-old architecture graduate from Karnataka was named Liva Miss Diva Universe 2022 and will represent India at Miss Universe 2022. She was second runner-up during last year's Miss Diva edition.

Pragnya Ayyagari was announced Liva Miss Diva Supranational 2022 and will go to Miss Supranational 2023 while Ojasvi Sharma was awarded the title Liva Miss Popular Choice 2022.

The glittering show was attended by last year's winner and reigning Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu who was awarded Pride of India by the Times of India Managing Director, Mr. Vineet Jain.

"Harnaaz, words fall short every time we describe the pride and honor you've brought to our country on a global stage. May you keep shining bright and continue to do so in the future," the Miss Diva Organization shared on social media.

India's second Miss Universe titleholder, Lara Dutta, also graced the star-studded 10th anniversary of the Miss Diva pageant.

The Miss Universe Organization has just announced that Miss Universe 2026 final competition tickets completely sold out within just 48 hours of becoming available for purchase. This year's much awaited pageant will conclude on November 24 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Miss Universe Vietnam 2026 is Nguyen Quynh Anh from Hanoi

Nguyen Quynh Anh was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2026 on Friday, October 2 at The Opera in Hai Phong. She takes over the crown from the previous year's reigning queen, Nguyen Huong Giang. The 27-year-old model hailing from Hanoi will now prepare to represent Vietnam at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant, which will take place in Puerto Rico this November. Trinh My Anh and Emma Maria Fernandez Le were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Trinh Thi Hong Dang and Nguyen Dieu Huyen rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Miss Earth Organization has just announced Nathalie Briones from Chile as the newly appointed Miss Earth Water 2025. The 20-year-old advertising student and model took over the title following the dethronement of Trinh My Anh of Vietnam for competing in another pageant. Perla Harb will represent Lebanon at the 75th Miss Universe pageant (Miss Universe 2026) taking place in Puerto Rico this November. Jennifer Kraft Zhou was crowned the winner of the Miss Universe Hong Kong 2026 pageant on Friday, September 18 at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong. Queen Elizabeth Makune was crowned Miss Universe Tanzania 2026 last Sunday, September 20 at Haddy Pro Hall, Mbezi Beach, Dar es Salaam. The 30-year-old public servant and health advocate from Mwanza beat over 20 other contestants to win the national pageant.
