The Top 11 official finalists vying for Miss Czech Republic 2023 have been officially announced on Thursday, January 26 at Aureole restaurant in Prague. Along with the special presentation of the 11 competitors, a brand new crown designed by jeweler Olga Kopalova was also unveiled. The finalists and a 40-member team were next taken to the DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island in the United Arab Emirates where they will train and prepare for the grand coronation. Miss Czech Republic 2023 final show will be held on May 13 at the Forum Karlín in Prague where five national titles are at stake. The winners are expected to represent the Czech Republic at Miss World 2024, Miss International 2023, Miss Supranational 2023, Miss Grand International 2023, and Miss Intercontinental 2023. The Miss Supranational Organization has announced that the reigning queen Lalela Mswane is scheduled to visit Curacao this February. Lalela will be in the Dutch Caribbean island from February 16 to 23 as a special guest of the Miss Supranational Curaçao Organization in collaboration with the Curacao Tourist Board. During her stay, the South African beauty queen is expected to explore and showcase the beauty of the island and take part in the country's Carnival celebrations. South Africa's reigning Miss Supranational Lalela Mswane will touch down in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, November 28 for her first-ever visit to Vietnam. The beauty queen will be the VIP guest at the Harper's Bazaar Star Awards 2022, an event celebrating the people and organizations who made outstanding contributions to Vietnam's luxury market. She will be opening the fashion show and walk for one of Vietnam's top fashion designers. Lalela will also be shooting for several top fashion magazines, including the cover of Harper's Bazaar Vietnam. New age limits have been announced by the Miss Supranational / Mister Supranational Organization following a survey conducted among national license holders. Women between the ages of 18 and 32 will now be able to participate in Miss Supranational. In addition to the rule, contestants must be female as indicated on official documents, and have never been married or have had children. For Mister Supranational, the age limit has been changed to 20 for the youngest and 34 for the oldest. To participate, aspirants need to be male as indicated on official documents, and have never been married or have children. Effective immediately, the changes will now take effect starting from Miss Supranational 2023 and Mister Supranational 2023 editions. The prestigious Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 2022 grand final is taking place tonight at the Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos. Out of 37 competitors, five queens will be crowned at the culmination of the event — MBGN World, MBGN Universe, MBGN Supranational, MBGN Ecowas, and MBGN Tourism. Maria Cholidou (Μαρία Χολίδου) was named Miss Aphrodite GS Hellas 2022 (Miss Supranational Greece) during the Star & Mr GS Hellas 2022 national competition. The 21-year-old law student succeeds last year's titleholder Eliza Sophia and will represent Greece at Miss Supranational 2023 pageant in Poland. Mayuko Hanawa was crowned Miss Supranational Japan 2022 on Saturday, September 24 at the Kanda Myojin Hall in Tokyo. The 27-year-old Japanese-Filipino teacher who represented the Ibaraki Prefecture will now prepare to compete in the Miss Supranational 2023 pageant in Poland. Miss Aichi, Ayano Shinkawa, 28, and Miss Shizuoka, Riho Sasaki, 22, were the first and second runners-up, respectively. A total of 18 finalists were selected to participate in the national final. At the end of the event, last year's winner Rina Okada relinquished her reign.
