Miss Supranational Japan 2022 is Mayuko Hanawa of Ibaraki


Mayuko Hanawa was crowned Miss Supranational Japan 2022 on Saturday, September 24 at the Kanda Myojin Hall in Tokyo.

The 27-year-old Japanese-Filipino teacher who represented the Ibaraki Prefecture will now prepare to compete in the Miss Supranational 2023 pageant in Poland.

Miss Aichi, Ayano Shinkawa, 28, and Miss Shizuoka, Riho Sasaki, 22, were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

A total of 18 finalists were selected to participate in the national final. At the end of the event, last year's winner Rina Okada relinquished her reign.

Miss Norway 2025 is Leonora Lysglimt-Rødland from Oslo

Leonora Lysglimt-Rødland was crowned Miss Norway 2025 (Miss Universe Norway 2025) in a national competition held on Saturday, August 30 at Gateway Studios in Fornebu. The 19-year-old beauty from Oslo will represent Norway at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. She succeeds last year's winner Lilly Sødal. Athenna Crosby of California bested over 40 other contestants to win the Miss World America 2024 pageant on Sunday, November 17 in Seattle, Washington. The 26-year-old American-Venezuelan model and actress succeeds last year's winner Victoria DiSorbo and will now prepare to represent the United States of America at the 72nd Miss World. Kimberly Nwankolo of Oregon was named first runner-up while Anne Li of the District of Columbia, Aishwarya Kumar of Central Washington, and Heather Alexia Santos of Washington were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Lilly Sødal was crowned Miss Norway 2024 (Miss Universe Norway 2024) during the national competition held last Saturday, August 10 at Rebel in Oslo. The 21-year-old sustainability advocate from Kristiansand received her crown from her predecessor, last year's winner Julie Tollefsen. The three winners of Miss Ukraine 2023 who will represent Ukraine in international pageants were officially announced on Monday, September 25 through social media. Sofia Shamia, an 18-year-old student from the Kyiv region was named Miss Ukraine 2023 (Miss World Ukraine 2023) and will compete in Miss World 2023 in India on December 16. The title of Miss International Ukraine 2023 went to Sofia Zgoba, 18, from Lviv region, and she will go to Japan for Miss International 2023 on October 26.
