Miss Czech Republic 2023: Meet the Top 11 finalists

The Top 11 official finalists vying for Miss Czech Republic 2023 have been officially announced on Thursday, January 26 at Aureole restaurant in Prague.

Along with the special presentation of the 11 competitors, a brand new crown designed by jeweler Olga Kopalova was also unveiled.

The finalists and a 40-member team were next taken to the DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island in the United Arab Emirates where they will train and prepare for the grand coronation.

Miss Czech Republic 2023 final show will be held on May 13 at the Forum Karlín in Prague where five national titles are at stake.

The winners are expected to represent the Czech Republic at Miss World 2024, Miss International 2023, Miss Supranational 2023, Miss Grand International 2023, and Miss Intercontinental 2023.

Erika Teichertová – 20, a student at the University of Ostrava majoring in social pedagogy

Dominika Nemečková – 22, special education student at Masaryk University, Brno

Veronika Dočkalová – 26, an editor focusing on show business

Kristýna Dušková – 21, a student at the University of Pardubice – Faculty of Philosophy

Sophia Maria Osako – 18, a political science student at the university

Marie Jedličková – 24, a business management student at Business Institute Prague

Kateřina Mládková – 20, a student at the University of Economics in Prague

Justýna Zedníková – 20, a student at the University of Economics in Prague

Nicole Ebnerová – 22, real estate agent in Prague

Anna Benešová – 20, a student at the University of Economics and Management majoring in sports marketing

Barbora Bláhová – 23, marketing student and model

Miss Universe Venezuela 2024 is Stephany Abasali

Miss Venezuela 2024, the 71st Miss Venezuela pageant, was held on Thursday, December 5 at Espacio Caracas. Stephany Abasali, a 24-year-old economics student representing Anzoátegui, bested 22 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Venezuela 2024. Karín Aridi of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Vanessa Pérez of Distrito Capital, Sarilé González of Miranda, and Vanessa Peroza of Nueva Esparta were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Daniel Mejía from Puerto Rico was proclaimed the winner of the Mr World 2024 competition on Saturday, November 23 in Phan Thiet, Vietnam. The 28-year-old talented singer became the first Puerto Rican to win the international title. He holds a degree in health sciences and works as a mortgage loan originator. Miss Universe 2024, the 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held on November 16 at the the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. Miss Venezuela World 2024 is Valeria Cannavo

Valeria Cannavo, the representative of Dependencias Federales, was crowned Miss Venezuela World 2024 on Saturday, November 23 in Caracas. The 24-year-old fashion designer succeeds Ariagny Daboin (Miss Venezuela World 2021) and will now prepare to represent Venezuela at the Miss World 2025 competition. Alessandra Guillen of Delta Amacuro was crowned Miss Venezuela International 2024 at the same event. She succeeds Guárico's Sakra Guerrero (Miss International 2024 third runner-up) and will be sent to the Miss International 2025 pageant in Japan. Victoria Kjær Theilvig has been officially announced as Miss Grand International Denmark 2022 and she will soon travel to Indonesia for the 10th Miss Grand International pageant. The 18-year-old former elite dancer from Søborg is a woman with great ambitions. She has already completed high school, where she studied marketing and economics, and is now taking a gap year, where she works full-time with her own company. Mr World 2024: Puerto Rico's Daniel Mejía wins Sports Challenge

Puerto Rico's Daniel Mejía was declared the overall winner of the Mr World 2024 Sports Challenge following the combined results of swimming and running events. The swimming round was held on November 14, while the running round took place on Sunday in conjunction with the Strong Vietnam Marathon in Vung Tau City. Kirk Bondad of the Philipines came second while Bruno Barbieri of Italy, Manu Turner of England, and Vincent Gobuamang of Botswana were third, fourth, and fifth, respectively. Miss America 2024: Meet the contestants

Miss America 2024 will be the 96th edition of the Miss America pageant — the nation's leading provider of scholarships for young women. The 51 state representatives have already been crowned and they will compete for the national title on January 14 at the Walt Disney Theater (Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts) in Orlando, Florida. Apart from raising the age limits to between 18 and 28, the 2024 competition under the new CEO Robin Ross-Fleming will also see other changes.
