The much-awaited swimsuit competition of Miss Universe Thailand 2023 took place on Saturday, August 5 at Pullman Khon Kaen Raja Orchid Hotel in Khon Kaen. Fifty-three stunning contestants hailing from various corners of the country strutted on the stage in their exquisite two-piece swimsuits courtesy of the UNIX brand. Following their sizzling performance at last night's much-talked-about event presented by Vincent Clinic, four of them were announced as the recipients of several special awards. Miss Universe Thailand 2023 'The Unlimited' kicks off in Bangkok

Miss Universe Thailand 2023, the fifth edition of the Miss Universe Thailand pageant under TPN Global, officially kicked off on Monday, July 10 in Bangkok. More than 50 beauties selected from different provinces of Thailand attended the registration day held at Bangkok World, Siam Amazing Park where they received their official sashes and drew their numbers. They will go through a series of pre-pageant activities and challenges (accessible for viewing via TPN Global's official YouTube channel) leading up to the much-awaited final competition next month. Thaweeporn "Aoom"  Phingchamrat was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2023 in a glittering final competition held on Saturday, April 29 at MGI Hall, Show DC Megacomplex in Bangkok. The 27-year-old model from the southern province of Chumphon bested 76 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeded last year's winner and Miss Grand International 2022 first runner-up Engfa Waraha. Tia Li Taveepanichpan of Phuket was named first runner-up while Pimjira Charoenluk of Bangkok, Ajcharee Srisuk of Loei, and Ketwalee Phlobdee of Phrae were the second, third, fourth runners-up, respectively. Former Miss Supranational Anntonia Porsild to join Miss Universe Thailand 2023

Thailand's first Miss Supranational winner Anntonia Porsild will be joining Miss Universe Thailand 2023 according to several online sources. The 26-year-old beauty, born in India to a Thai mother and Danish father, was crowned Miss Supranational Thailand 2019 and went on to win the 11th Miss Supranational pageant in Katowice, Poland. TPN Global, the organizers of the annual Miss Universe Thailand competition, has yet to reveal important details for the highly anticipated 2023 edition including the official names of aspirants. Anntonia has yet to respond to a request for comment. There is no official announcement from her personally to confirm her participation but previously hinted at her big return with the sparkles emoji which in the pageantry world stands for Miss Universe. If ever she makes it to the competition and eventually takes home the crown, she will be the first in Thailand to hold two major national beauty titles. Firstwang Patraporn Wang was crowned Miss Supranational Thailand 2023 in a glittering competition held on Tuesday, April 4 at the Ultra Arena Hall, Show DC in Bangkok. The 28-year-old model and former Miss Intercontinental bested 14 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeded last year's winner and Miss Supranational 2022 first runner-up Praewwanich Ruangthong. Poppy Boonyisa Chantrarachai and Natalia Malinda Phukthong were named first and second runners-up, respectively. Rounding out the Top 5 were Stamp Ketwarin (third runner-up) and Tiya Kitiya Laaituk (fourth runner-up). Thailand's new national director for the Miss International pageant was officially announced during the press conference held for Manhunt Thailand 2023 and Miss Thailand International 2023 last March 22. The license has been awarded to Pawina Bamrungrot, CEO of ERM Thailand Company Limited and former Miss International Thailand who placed in the Top 12 at Miss International 2003. Hosted by reigning Miss International Thailand 2022, Tavee Ruechanok-Meesang, the glittering event took place at the Chatrium Grand Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. Miss Chiang Mai, Chonnikarn Supittayaporn, was crowned Miss Thailand 2023 on Sunday, March 19 at the Central Chaengwattana in Nonthaburi, Bangkok. The 24-year-old model and pharmacy graduate of Chiang Mai University succeeded last year's winner Manita Farmer and will now prepare to represent Thailand at Miss Global 2023 this November in Vietnam. Sakhon Nakhon's Marisa Phonthirat was named the first runner-up while Phatthalung's Arabella Sitanan Gregory finished as the second runner-up. Miss Thailand Organization has just announced that the next Miss Thailand winner will be sent to Miss World 2023 The exciting news was revealed by organizers, the TPN Global, during the press conference for Miss Thailand 2023 on Monday, February 6 at the Paragon Cineplex in Bangkok. This year's competition is themed the "Ultimate Precious" and around 77 contestants each representing provinces of the country are expected to take part. The 54th Miss Thailand edition will be held this March and pre-pageant activities will be hosted in the southern province of Phatthalung. At the end of the event, last year's winner Manita Farmer will crown her successor who will take home 1 million baht in cash and many other prizes. Miss Universe Thailand 2022 Anna Sueangam-iam finally released her stunning photos shot by New York City-based fashion photographer Fadil Berisha and they're currently receiving a lot of positive feedback on her social media. The photos she captioned "Crowns aren’t made of rhinestones. They’re made of discipline, determination and a hard to find alloy called courage" were taken during her official trip to New York in September. Anna is expected to be back in the USA this January for the 71st Miss Universe pageant which will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana. Miss Universe Thailand 2022 Anna Sueangam-iam will be wearing a Songkran-inspired national costume for the upcoming 71st Miss Universe pageant. The Miss Universe Thailand organizers revealed the winning design called "Iconic of Songkran" on Wednesday, October 12 on its official social media accounts. Out of hundreds of entries from talented Thai designers, three were selected to present their concept to the Miss Universe Thailand committee, and eventually, one design won the majority of the fans' and the judges' votes. Designed by Kamolrose Siriassawakul, the inspiration for the national costume is the Songkran Festival which is annually celebrated on April 13, during the Thai New Year's national holiday. Also known as the "water festival," Songkran is Thailand's most famous festival which has evolved into a huge display of fun water fights across the whole country every year.
