Miss Grand Thailand 2023 is Thaweeporn Phingchamrat of Chumphon


Thaweeporn "Aoom"  Phingchamrat was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2023 in a glittering final competition held on Saturday, April 29 at MGI Hall, Show DC Megacomplex in Bangkok.

The 27-year-old model from the southern province of Chumphon bested 76 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeded last year's winner and Miss Grand International 2022 first runner-up Engfa Waraha.

Tia Li Taveepanichpan of Phuket was named first runner-up while Pimjira Charoenluk of Bangkok, Ajcharee Srisuk of Loei, and Ketwalee Phlobdee of Phrae were the second, third, fourth runners-up, respectively.

Rounding out the Top 11 finalists and were announced fifth runners-up include Pattaravadee Boonmesup of Chiang Rai, Tantawan Jitteelak of Lopburi, Kamonwarai Prajakrattanakul of Nakhon Phanom, Rina Chatamanchai of Nakhon Ratchasima, Kodchakorn Kontrakoon of Nong Bua Lamphu, and Vanessa Nattacha Wenk of Saraburi.

The rest of the Top 20 were from Kalasin, Praifah Tongrae, Krabi, Pacharada Fusuamakawa, Lampang, Manika Thippanet, Mae Hong Son, Chonticha Kaewbutdee, Nakhon Pathom, Wichayanard Narad, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Supaporn Naksuwan, Pathum Thani, Sophie Siriyakorn Trau, Phetchabun, Worawalun Putklang, and Songkhla, Karnruethai Tassabut.

No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Grand Thailand was third runner-up when she first joined the competition in 2017 while representing Chantaburi. She was later appointed to compete in Miss United Continents 2017 in Ecuador where also placed third runner-up and bagged the best in national costume award.

Thaweeporn will now prepare to represent Thailand at Miss Grand International 2023 to be held in Vietnam this October.

Hosted by Thai-Australian singer, actor, and TV presenter Matthew Deane, this year's event marked the 10th edition of the Miss Grand Thailand pageant.

Miss Nepal 2023: Meet the winners of Miss Nepal World, Earth and International titles

The Dabur Vatika Miss Nepal 2023 final competition was held on Saturday, May 27 at the Godawari Convention Hall in Lalitpur. Contestant number 17   Srichchha Pradhan, a Bennington College graduate with a degree in environmental studies, was proclaimed Miss Nepal World 2023. Raina Majgaiya, a commercial pilot, clinched the title Miss Nepal Earth 2023 while Prasiddhy Shah, also an environmental studies graduate, was named Miss Nepal International 2023. They are expected to represent Nepal at Miss World 2024, Miss Earth 2023 (Vietnam), and Miss International 2023 (Japan), respectively. A total of 24 contestants from around the country were selected to take part in the 27th edition of the Miss Nepal pageant. Miss Universe Albania 2023 is Endi Demneri from Tirana

Endi Demneri was crowned Miss Universe Albania 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, June 1 at Pallati i Kongreseve (Palace of Congresses) in Tirana. The 24-year-old model from Tirana succeeds Deta Kokomani and will now prepare to represent Albania at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) pageant in El Salvador later this year. Misbah Arshad was proclaimed Miss Pakistan World 2023 in a crowning ceremony held on Wednesday, May 31 at the Grand Palm Hotel in Lahore. The 25-year-old Pakistani beauty lives in Munich, Germany with her family and is pursuing her bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Hagen. Cumberland's Mary Malloy was crowned Miss Rhode Island USA 2023 on Sunday, May 28 at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium (The VETS) in Providence.
