Miss Thailand International 2023 launched, meet new national director


Thailand's new national director for the Miss International pageant was officially announced during the press conference held for Manhunt Thailand 2023 and Miss Thailand International 2023 last March 22.

The license has been awarded to Pawina Bamrungrot, CEO of ERM Thailand Company Limited and former Miss International Thailand who placed in the Top 12 at Miss International 2003.

Hosted by reigning Miss International Thailand 2022, Tavee Ruechanok-Meesang, the glittering event took place at the Chatrium Grand Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

Miss International 2019 Sireethorn "Bint" Leearamwat, Thailand's first-ever Miss International winner, graced the press conference with former national titleholders Sadi Sinthawee (2015) and Pattiya Ponngchai (2016). Manhunt Thailand 2018 Rattanan Sukubon and Manhunt Thailand 2022 Toto Pakorn Rodkhumpiyaset were also present.

Miss Thailand International (not Miss International Thailand) 2023 will open for application in July with the audition and selection process running through the end of August while the final is expected to take place in September 2023.

The winner will represent Thailand at Miss International 2023 in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan on October 26 (unless someone else will be appointed for this year's international pageant).

Miss Connecticut USA 2024 is Shavana Clarke

Miss Greater Bridgeport, Shavana Clarke was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2024 on Sunday, April 14 at Marriott Hartford Windsor Airport in Windsor, Connecticut. The 29-year-old model and mental health advocate will now prepare to represent the state of Connecticut at Miss USA 2024 in California this August. Shavana was crowned by last year's winner and Miss USA 2023 Top 20 semifinalist Karla Aponte Roque. She was third runner-up to Karla during last year's competition. Miss Oklahoma USA 2024 is Danika Christopherson

Danika Christopherson, representing The Village, was crowned Miss Oklahoma USA 2024 on Sunday, April 14 at OCCC Performing Arts Center Theater in Oklahoma City Community College. The 23-year-old former Miss Oklahoma Teen USA succeeds last year's winner Liv Walbeck. She will now prepare for the Miss USA 2024 competition to be held in California this summer. To recall, Danika previously participated in Miss Teen USA 2020 in Memphis, Tennessee where she placed in the Top 16. She was also first runner-up during last year's Miss Oklahoma USA. Miss Universe Greece 2024 is Christianna Katsieri

Christianna Katsieri has been officially announced as Miss Universe Greece 2024 by the Star & Mr GS Hellas organization. The 22-year-old model has previously held the title Miss GS Hellas 2022 and became Miss Earth Greece 2023. She went on to represent Greece at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam last December. Her predecessor Marielia Zaloumi was last year's Star GS Hellas and Miss Universe Greece, who went to Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador last November. Ten women have been selected for the opportunity to compete for the national title currently held by last year's winner Melissa Ingraham . Miss Universe Netherlands 2024: Meet the Top 16 finalists

From 60 beauties who participated during the casting day, only 16 will now move on as finalists for Miss Universe Netherlands 2024. The selection event and official announcement of the Top 16 finalists took place on Saturday, April 13 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. Previously held by Monica van Ee of the Miss Nederland organization, the license for Miss Universe Netherlands has been taken over this year by Milou Verhoeks of the Miss Beauty of the Netherlands. Last year's winner under Miss Nederland was Rikkie Valerie KollƩ , the first-ever transgender woman to represent the Netherlands at the Miss Universe pageant. The next Miss Universe Netherlands, to be crowned in July, will travel to Mexico for the 73rd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2024) competition later this year. Madeline Bohlman, representing Northwest Arkansas, was crowned Miss Arkansas USA 2024 on Sunday, April 14 at OCCC Performing Arts Center Theater, Oklahoma City Community College. The 22-year-old marketing student at the University of Arkansas will head to California for Miss USA 2024 this August. She succeeds last year's winner and Miss USA 2023 Top 20, Mackenzie Hinderberger. No stranger to pageantry, Madeline is a former Miss Arkansas Teen USA winner. She competed in Miss Teen USA 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Elizabeth Laker was crowned Miss RNB EspaƱa 2024 (Miss Supranational Spain 2024) on Saturday, April 13 at Teatre Auditori de Salou (TAS). The 25-year-old personal trainer and makeup artist from Arona, Tenerife succeeds last year's winner Lola Wilson. Martina SuĆ”rez of Valencia and Ainara MartĆ­nez of La Rioja were the first and second runners-up, respectively. R'Bonney Gabriel to host Miss Universe Philippines 2024 final show

The Miss Universe Philippines organization has officially announced former Miss Universe of the USA, R'Bonney Gabriel as host of the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2024 coronation night. To recall, R'Bonney was crowned Miss Universe 2022 during the the 71st Miss Universe pageant held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans in January 2023. The Filipino-American fashion designer became the second Asian-American woman to win the Miss Universe title since Brook Lee (Miss Universe 1997) and so far, the oldest winner at 28 years old, succeeding Andrea Meza of Mexico.
