Miss International Vietnam 2023 is Nguyen Phuong Nhi

Miss World Vietnam 2022 second runner-up Nguyen Phuong Nhi has been officially announced as Miss International Vietnam 2023. The 21-year-old beauty from Thanh Hoá succeeds Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh and will now prepare to represent Vietnam at Miss International 2023 this October in  Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Her official send-off and sashing ceremony will take place this Tuesday, March 23 at Sofitel Saigon Plaza in Ho Chi Minh City. Reigning Miss International Jasmin Selberg of Germany will be attending the event as an invited special guest. She will arrive on Monday, March 22 fresh from her Indonesian trip. Miss International Queen Vietnam 2023 is Nguyen Ha Diu Thao

Nguyen Ha Diu Thao was crowned Miss International Queen Vietnam 2023 in a glittering national pageant held on Saturday, April 8 in Ho Chi Minh City. The 23-year-old transgender beauty living in Binh Duong hails from Hai Duong. She will now prepare to represent Vietnam at Miss International Queen 2023 in Thailand. Nguyen Tuong San and Nguyen An Nhi were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Nguyen Trang Nhung, Nguyen Dan Tien, and Nguyen Vu Ha Anh rounded out the Top 6 finalists. Vietnam's Le Thao Nhi will no longer compete in Miss Universe 2023

Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 first runner-up Le Thao Nhi will no longer be able to join Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador later this year. The reason shared by the new Miss Universe Vietnam organization was due to agreement issues with Unicorp, the previous license holder and organizers of Hoa Hậu Hoàn Vũ Việt Nam. Despite Miss Universe's preference for its contestants to be winners only from annually organized national pageants, they were asked to consider Thao Nhi's participation in honor of Unicorp's huge contribution to the development of the brand in the country. But since an agreement could not be reached between the national organizations involved, a new worthy representative will be chosen to represent Vietnam at the 72nd edition of the Miss Universe pageant. Miss Eco Vietnam Nguyen Thanh Ha bested over 40 other contestants to win Miss Eco International 2023 on Friday, March 3 at the Triumph Luxury Hotel in Cairo. The 19-year-old beauty from Ben Tre Province succeeded last year's winner from the Philippines, Kathleen Paton. She is the first Vietnamese representative to win the Egypt-based international competition. Rounding out the Top 5 finalists were first runner-up from Nigeria, Odum Nnena, second runner-up from Mauritius, Yuvna Gookool, third runner-up from Cambodia, Ratana Sokhavatey, and fourth runner-up from Ecuador, Génesis Guerrero Cabrera. The new national director for Miss Universe Vietnam, Quỳnh Nga, was officially announced on Friday, February 24 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Moving forward, the news anchor and former pageant contestant will head the national competition that will select Vietnam's next representative at Miss Universe, starting with the 72nd edition (Miss Universe 2023) later this year in El Salvador. Miss Universe Vietnam Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Châu has been officially announced as the winner of the Swimsuit Cape Vote — an official fan vote conducted by the Miss Universe Organization on its official app. The winning cape was showcased during the 71st Miss Universe preliminary swimsuit competition which was held on January 11 in New Orleans. Ngọc Châu chose the design for her personalized cape as it motivates her to conquer her Miss Universe dream. Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc of Vietnam beat 70 other contestants to win the Miss Intercontinental 2022 pageant on Friday, October 14 at the Meraki Resort in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. The 21-year-old model succeeds last year's winner Cinderella Faye Obeñita of the Philippines and made history by becoming the first-ever representative from Vietnam to win the title in the pageant's 50-year history. Puerto Rico's Mariela Pepin was named first runner-up while Brazil's Maria Cecília Almeida de Sousa finished as the second runner-up. Doan Thien An was crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 (Hoa hậu Hòa bình Việt Nam) in a spectacular final show held on Saturday, October 1 at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City. The 22-year-old student from Long An province bested 49 other contestants to win the national title. She will now represent Vietnam at Miss Grand International 2022 in Bali and Jakarta, Indonesia this October. Vietnam's Bui Quynh Hoa was crowned Supermodel International 2022 on Thursday, September 15 at the MAYA Lifestyle Shopping Center in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The 24-year-old model from Hanoi, who placed in the Top 10 at Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, bested 18 other contestants to win the 10th edition of the pageant. Apart from the title, she also bagged the Best in National Costume award. Vietnam's representative for the 50th Miss Intercontinental pageant in Egypt, Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, was given a special send-off ceremony on Thursday, September 1. The event took place at the Orchids Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and was attended by the reigning Miss Intercontinental Cinderella Faye Obeñita from the Philippines as an invited special guest. Prior to being appointed Miss Intercontinental Vietnam 2022, Bao Ngoc was named first runner-up at the Miss World Vietnam 2022 pageant last August 12. Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 holds press conference, announces schedules

A press conference was held on Thursday, August 18 to officially announce the preliminary and final schedules of Miss Grand Vietnam 2022. The event took place at Sofitel Saigon Plaza and was attended by the reigning Miss Grand International Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, Sen Vang Entertainment General Director Hoang Nhat Nam, pageant organizers, and sponsors. Former queens, newly crowned Miss World Vietnam 2022 Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong, and runners-up Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc and Nguyen Phuong Nhi were also present. Schedules for this year's competition consisted of an online preliminary round on August 21 whose qualifiers will move on to face the judges in the next round on August 28. The fashion show, swimsuit, national costume, and final round will take place in September. There will also be a separate competition for the costume designers. Miss World Vietnam 2022 is Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong

Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2022 on Friday, August 12 at MerryLand Quy Nhon in the province of Binh Dinh. The 22-year-old beauty from Dong Nai province bested 36 other contestants to win her national title. She will represent her country at the 71st Miss World competition. Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc and Nguyen Phuong Nhi were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Nguyen Thi Phuong Linh and Nguyen Thuy Linh completed the Top 5 finalists. The new Miss World Vietnam is no stranger to pageantry. She won Miss Dong Nai University 2018 in her first pageant and placed in the Top 5 in Miss Vietnam 2020. This year's competition was the second edition of the Miss World Vietnam pageant. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau bested 40 other contestants to win Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 on Saturday, June 25 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City. Le Thao Nhi and Huynh Pham Thuy Tien were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Le Hoang Phuong and Nguyen Thi Huong Ly completed the Top 5 finalists. Reining Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu together with former queens Catriona Gray and Natalie Glebova graced the competition as international judges.
