Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 is Doan Thien An


Doan Thien An was crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 (Hoa hậu Hòa bình Việt Nam) in a spectacular final show held on Saturday, October 1 at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City.

The 22-year-old student from Long An province bested 49 other contestants to win the national title. She will now represent Vietnam at Miss Grand International 2022 in Bali and Jakarta, Indonesia this October.

Che Nguyen Quynh Chau was named first runner-up while Tran Tuyet Nhu, Tran Nguyen Minh Thu, and Ngo Thi Quynh Mai were the second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss Grand Vietnam became the last representative to be selected this year for the 10th Miss Grand International pageant, only less than a week before the upcoming international competition.

Reigning Miss Grand International Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien crowned her successor for the national title at the end of the event.

This year's competition was the inaugural edition of Miss Grand Vietnam organized by Sen Vang Entertainment. The glittering coronation event was broadcasted on the pageant's official social media platforms and VTV3.

Miss Universe 2024, the 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held on November 16 at the the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. Daumier Corilla of the Philippines was proclaimed Mister Global 2024 on Sunday, October 6 at MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi in Bangkok, Thailand. The 28-year-old model, actor, and host bested over 30 other contestants to become the first-ever Filipino winner of the international male pageant. Shereen Ahmed was recently crowned Miss Universe Bahrain 2024 and will compete in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. After a 23-year hiatus, Hong Kong is set to return to the Miss Universe stage this year with Miss Universe Hong Kong 2024 Joanne Rhodes. The 24-year-old art advisor and model edged out 15 other finalists to win the competition on September 26 at the Go Park Sai Sha. A total of 75 beauties from different countries and territories are expected to compete for the coveted international beauty title. The contestants will start arriving in Japan on October 29 and will be immersed in various social, cultural, and educational activities.
