Reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska has arrived in Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire for the first time together with Miss World CEO Julia Morley and Miss World Europe Anna Leitch. They were welcome at the airport by reigning Miss Cote D'Ivoire and Miss World Africa Olivia Yace, and Comici De Cote D'Ivoire President Víctor Yapobi. It was the first time the 70th Miss World Top 3 beauties were together since their competition in Puerto Rico last March. The official visit to the West African country was to celebrate Olivia's achievement and witness the coronation of Miss Cote D'Ivoire 2022 on Saturday, July 2. Natasha-Joan Mapulanga bested eight other finalists to be crowned Miss Zambia 2021/22 on Saturday, June 11 at Best Western Plus Lusaka Hotel. The 25-year-old international relations and development analyst hails from Lusaka. She succeeds Vanessa Ukevwe Chinyemba and is expected to represent her country at the Miss World pageant. Gwendolyne Fourniol of Negros Occidental wins Miss World Philippines 2022

Gwendolyne Fourniol, representative of Negros Occidental, bested 35 other contestants to win the Miss World Philippines 2022 title at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Sunday, June 5. The 21-year-old Filipino-French beauty pursued a degree in economics from the Oxford Brookes University in London. She is an advocate for education and has been working with a non-profit organization that sends underprivileged kids to school. "As an advocate of education, I do agree that during the pandemic we have suffered the most, but the children who have a lack of access to education have suffered the greatest. And working hand in hand with ERDA Foundation who empowered the marginalized Filipino, I believe by uniting benefactors and encouraging our children and allowing them to go back to school, especially during this pandemic will make this world a better place because education is the greatest weapon against poverty," she answered during the question and answer portion. Maria Gigante of Cebu and Charyzah Esparrago of Taguig have been announced the Top 2 finalists at the conclusion of the Miss World Philippines 2022 Head to Head Challenge final round that took place on Monday, May 23 at Twin Lakes Hotel.  Angela Teng of Baliway, Bulacan, Ashley Subijano Montenegro of Makati, and Erika Kristensen of Carmona, Cavite were the rest of the Top 5. For the Talent Competition, 5 contestants emerged at the top from their presentations on Tuesday, May 24 at Hotel Lucky China Town. The Miss World Philippines 2022 press presentation took place last Thursday, May 12 at Cove Manila. Thirty-six beauties are vying for the coveted titles at stake and the opportunity to represent the Philippines at the next Miss World, Miss Supranational, Miss Eco International, and Reina Hispanoamericana international competitions. The reigning queens, Tracy Perez, Dindi Pajares, Emmanuelle Vera, and Kathleen Paton will crown their successors at the end of the event. Miss Wales 2022 is Darcey Corria, first woman of color to win the pageant

Darcey Corria bested 19 other finalists to be crowned Miss Wales 2022 in a glittering competition held at The Riverfront in Newport on Sunday, May 8. The 21-year-old model and advocate from Barry was born to a white mother and a father of Jamaican heritage. She became the first-ever woman of color to win the Miss Wales pageant. Chepstow's Zoe Scrimshaw and Bridgend's Catrin Harries were the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Wales volunteers for Race Equality First and helps women from black, Asian, and minority ethnic backgrounds in the community through health and fitness. She has also been actively involved in the Criminal Justice in Wales Anti-Racism Delivery Plan called Together Stronger. CNB Ecuador 2022: Meet the newly crowned Ecuadorian beauties for Miss World and Miss Supranational 2022

The Concurso Nacional de Belleza Ecuador 2022 (CNB Ecuador) pageant was held on Saturday, April 30 at the Teatro Sánchez Aguilar in Samborondón. Miss Santa Elena, Annie Zambrano, was proclaimed Señorita Ecuador 2022 (Miss World Ecuador). The 22-year-old entrepreneur who is pursuing her bachelor's degree in languages will represent Ecuador at Miss World 2022 later this year. Another winner of the competition is Valery Carabalí who was named Miss Supranational Ecuador 2022. She will travel to Nowy Sacz in Malopolska, Poland to compete for the Miss Supranational 2022 title this July. Gabriela Andrade and María Paula López were proclaimed Virreina Nacional and first princess, respectively. Reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska has arrived in Ecuador as a special guest in the upcoming Concurso Nacional de Belleza Ecuador (CNB Ecuador) 2022 national pageant. Karolina's one-week tour of the South American country includes a reunion with her Miss World sister Amar Pacheco Ibarra, a meeting with the vice mayor of Guayaquil Josué Sánchez, a visit to the chocolate museum, and a trip to the Galápagos Islands as part of a marine conservation project. The Polish beauty was also invited to present computer tablets to more than 100 deserving young people in a project that is dedicated to supplying a tablet and WiFI package to every disadvantaged young person in the city of Guayaquil. Former national gymnast Kristen Wright was named Miss World Australia 2022 at Palazzo Versace on Queensland's Gold Coast on Friday, April 29. The 23-year-old beauty who hails from Mornington, Victoria is a biomedical student and a scuba diving instructor. She succeeds Miss World Australia 2019 Sarah Marschke and will now prepare to represent her country at Miss World 2022 later this year. This year's national competition was held after a 2-year pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Almost 2 weeks after winning the 70th Miss World pageant in Puerto Rico, Karolina Bielawska has returned to her home country. Fresh from London, the 23-year-old Polish beauty has arrived at Warsaw Chopin Airport on Sunday, March 27. She was warmly received by her friends, family, and members of the media in an evening of emotions and joy. The next day, a press conference was held in Poland's capital city which was also attended by Miss Polonia organizers and Miss World CEO Julia Morley. Newly crowned Miss World Karolina Bielawska has visited the Polish White Eagle Club in London to support their appeal to help the people of Ukraine. Karolina visited the club to see the wonderful work being completed by the Polish Community. She also helped pack boxes, thanked those who have given their time, and pledged to come back soon to help more. "We visited White Eagle Club. Their mission is to serve those on the ground who are affected by the conflict in Ukraine through the provision of much needed supplies," she wrote on her social media account.
