Czech Republic's Krystyna Pyszková comes home after 71st Miss World win

Following her victorious stint at the 71st Miss World in India, Krystyna Pyszková returned home on Sunday, March 24 to a warm homecoming in Czech Republic. Fresh from London, the beauty queen touched down in Prague where she was warmly received by her family, friends, and the media. Also present during her arrival at the airport were Miss Czech Republic national director Taťána Makarenko and her team. The next day, Monday, March 25, a homecoming press conference was held for the new Miss World at The Old Town Hall in her country's capital city. Apart from media tours, her busy schedule also included meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavský, at the Czernin Palace, and the Minister of Justice, Pavel Blažek. 71st Miss World is Krystyna Pyszková from Czech Republic

Czech Republic's Krystyna Pyszková was crowned the 71st Miss World in a glittering festival held on Saturday, March 9 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India. The 24-year-old model and student from Třince bested more than 100 other beauties to win the coveted title. She became the second Czech woman to become Miss World next to Taťána Kuchařová who won in 2006. Aside from modeling, Krystyna is currently pursuing her degrees in law and business administration. She is an advocate for education and is passionate about arts and music. The 71st Miss World was hosted by former Miss World from the Philippines, Megan Young, and Indian filmmaker Karan Johar. This year's spectacular event marked the return of the festival in India after 28 years. Yasmina Zaytoun of Lebanon was named first runner-up while the representatives from Botswana, Lesego Chombo, and Trinidad and Tobago, Aché Abrahams, rounded out the Top 4 finalists. Miss Czech Republic 2023 registration is now open

The Miss Czech Republic organization officially opened the registration for the Miss Czech Republic 2023 edition earlier this month. Applicants must be 17 to 25 years old and hold Czech citizenship. Other nationalities can also apply but they must have already been granted permanent residence at the time of registration. Castings will kick off on September 9 in Prague. Registration forms as well as the casting schedules and locations are available at the Miss Czech Republic official website . Details on the challenges, eliminations, and training sessions abroad are yet to be announced. The final show will be held in Prague and will be broadcast via TV NOVA on a date that has also yet to be announced. Miss Czech Republic winner receives prizes including a year's rent of an apartment in Prague, a luxury car from Mercedes-Benz, and a 3-year work contract with Miss Factory. Miss Czech Republic 2022: Meet the newly crowned winners

Five national titles were at stake at the culmination of this year's Miss Czech Republic pageant that took place at Fórum Karlín in Prague on Saturday, May 7. Krystyna Pyszková, a 23-year-old model and student from Třince was named Miss Czech Republic 2022 / Miss World Czech Republic 2022. She succeeds Karolína Kopíncová and will now prepare to represent the Czech Republic at the 71st Miss World (Miss World 2022) later this year. Adéla Maděryčová (23), Kristýna Malířová (23), Mariana Bečková (23), and Karolína Syroťuková (20) clinched the titles Miss International Czech Republic, Miss Supranational Czech Republic, Miss Grand Czech Republic and Miss Intercontinental Czech Republic, respectively.
