Czech Republic's Krystyna Pyszková comes home after 71st Miss World win


Following her victorious stint at the 71st Miss World in India, Krystyna Pyszková returned home on Sunday, March 24 to a warm homecoming in Czech Republic.

Fresh from London, the beauty queen touched down in Prague where she was warmly received by her family, friends, and the media.

Also present during her arrival at the airport were Miss Czech Republic national director Taťána Makarenko and her team.

The next day, Monday, March 25, a homecoming press conference was held for the new Miss World at The Old Town Hall in her country's capital city.

Apart from media tours, her busy schedule also included meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavský, at the Czernin Palace, and the Minister of Justice, Pavel Blažek.

Krystyna won her country's second Miss World crown on March 9 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India.

Danielle Adewisi, a medical doctor and advocate for women's health, was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2026 on Sunday, September 27 in Lagos. Following in the legacy of her mother Tonia Okogbenin, who won the same title in 1991, she is now gearing up to showcase Nigeria's pride at Miss Universe 2026 in Puerto Rico this coming November.
