Miss Srbije 2021 / Miss World Serbia 2022 is Anja Radic

Anja Radic bested 19 other beauties to be crowned Miss Srbije 2021 in a national competition held last Thursday, January 27 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. The 20-year-old project and innovation management student from Belgrade will represent Serbia at the 71st Miss World pageant. She succeeds last year's titleholder, Andrijana Savic. The first runner-up Anela Džanovic was named Miss Charm Serbia while Andjela Bucalo, the second runner-up, received the title Miss Teen International Serbia. Venera Stanisavljevic, Natasa Pilipovic, and Emina Rajicic were awarded Beauty Ambassador of Sharm El Sheikh, Miss Eco Serbia, and Miss Photogenic, respectively. The official presentation gala of the Miss Mundo Panamá 2022 (Miss World Panama 2022) candidates will be held on Thursday, February 17 at the Teatro Pacific in Panama City, following health security measures. It will be the first official public appearance of the girls, where they will show their skills on the catwalk, in addition to receiving the official sashes of their regions that identify them as candidates in the race for the national crown. Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra took to social media to announce that she has welcomed her first child with her husband. The Indian beauty shared: "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family." Her post received an outpouring amount of congratulatory messages like one from her fellow Femina Miss India and Miss Universe 2000 winner, Lara Dutta. Miss World 2021: Official Top 40 contestants announced

Miss World Organization has officially announced the remaining 25 contestants who were chosen by the judges to join the 15 fast track winners back in Puerto Rico this March. They will arrive in the host country on March 12 while the rest of the 97 contestants will only be featured in the broadcast of the 70th Miss World final, which will air live on March 16 at 8 p.m. ET (local time) from the Coliseo De Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan. Miss World Organization will announce today the official Top 40 contestants who will return to compete at the 70th Miss World final in Puerto Rico this March. Fifteen contestants have already secured their places in the Top 40 after winning the fast track events such as the Head to Head Challenge, Talent, Top Model, Sports, and Beauty With A Purpose, while the 25 remaining contestants who were chosen by the judges will be revealed within the day. Reigning Miss World Trinidad and Tobago Jeanine Brandt released an official statement on the controversial video clip of her presentation for the 70th Miss World Beauty With A Purpose Head to Head Challenge that circulated on social media. The beauty queen claimed thousands of children in Trinidad and Tobago live in poverty, sleep on cold grounds in makeshift homes, and have limited or no access to running water, food, school, and healthcare. Miss World 2021 temporarily postpones global broadcast finale in Puerto Rico due to health and safety interests of contestants, staff, crew, and general public. The finale will be rescheduled at Puerto Rico Coliseum Jose Miguel Agrelot within the next 90 days. SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - After meeting with the virologists and medical experts hired to oversee the Miss World 2021 event and discussing with the Puerto Rico Health Department, the decision has been made by the organizers of the event to postpone the globally broadcast finale at the Puerto Rico Coliseum Jose Miguel Agrelot to be held within the next 90 days. Miss World 2021: Several contestants test positive for COVID-19

Several Miss World 2021 contestants have tested positive for COVID-19 and will not be permitted to appear on stage this Thursday at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. While none of those who tested positive required hospitalization, they have to follow a mandatory 10-day isolation period according to the spokesperson of Puerto Rico's health department. Julia Morley, CEO of the Miss World Organization, also said they are following national guidelines and if the contestants don't produce a negative molecular PCR test, they won't be on stage for the final show. Miss France 2022 is Diane Leyre of Île-de-France

Diane Leyre, representing the northern Ile-de-France region, was crowned Miss France 2022 in a glittering national final held on Saturday, December 11 at the Zenith in Caen. The 24-year-old international trade graduate bested 28 other beauties to win the beauty title. She succeeds Amandine Petit of Normandy and became the 16th woman from her region to win Miss France. Floriane Bascou of Martinique and Cécile Wolfrom of Alsace were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Tumateata Buisson of Tahiti and Youssra Askry of Normandy completed the Top 5 finalists. After a busy couple of weeks interviewing each contestant in this year's Miss World Head to Head Challenge and the public votes have been tallied, the winners were finally revealed on Thursday, December 9 at the Capitolio De Puerto Rico in San Juan. The winners are contestants from Botswana , Palesa Mofele, Cameroon , Audrey Monkam, Cote D'Ivoire , Olivia Yacé, Nepal , Namrata Shrestha, Nicaragua , Sheynnis Palacios, Paraguay , Bethania Borba, Philippines , Tracy Perez, and Venezuela , Alejandra Conde. Miss World Cayman Islands, Colombia, Haiti, Indonesia, Mexico, Mongolia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Vietnam were the rest of the Top 16.
