Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra welcomes first child with Nick Jonas


Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra took to social media to announce that she has welcomed her first child with her husband.

The Indian beauty shared: "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family."

Her post received an outpouring amount of congratulatory messages like one from her fellow Femina Miss India and Miss Universe 2000 winner, Lara Dutta.

Priyanka was crowned Miss World 2000 at the age of 18 before becoming a famous actress in both Bollywood and Hollywood. She married American singer and actor Nick Jonas in December of 2018.

Last year, she published her memoir "Unfinished", which reached The New York Times Best Seller list.

The 22-year-old political science major at Thammasat University will represent Thailand at Miss World 2025 in Hyderabad ( Telangana), India this May. Kunda Mwamulima was crowned Miss Universe Zambia 2025 on Saturday, April 20 at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre (MICC) in Lusaka. The 29-year-old registered nurse and model will now prepare to represent Zambia at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Mirna Alejandra Caballini Bouche has been revealed by the Señorita Panama organization as official representative of Panama for Miss Universe 2025. The 22-year-old professional model, singer, theater actress and fashion designer will head to Thailand to compete in the 74th Miss Universe pageant this November.
