Anja Radic bested 19 other beauties to be crowned Miss Srbije 2021 in a national competition held last Thursday, January 27 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

The 20-year-old project and innovation management student from Belgrade will represent Serbia at the 71st Miss World pageant. She succeeds last year's titleholder, Andrijana Savic.

The first runner-up Anela Džanovic was named Miss Charm Serbia while Andjela Bucalo, the second runner-up, received the title Miss Teen International Serbia.

Venera Stanisavljevic, Natasa Pilipovic, and Emina Rajicic were awarded Beauty Ambassador of Sharm El Sheikh, Miss Eco Serbia, and Miss Photogenic, respectively.

"Impressions are slowly settling, and emotions are mixed. I would like to thank my company and my family. I will do my best to use my mandate in a quality way and to be the best possible ambassador of my country in the world," the new Miss Srbije / Miss World Serbia said after winning her national title.

"I have a lot of challenges ahead of me. I am glad that I will represent what I have been guided by all my life and those are true values, education, humanity, our tradition, and culture at the upcoming Miss World."
