Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2022 Talent Competition

The last of the five fast track challenges for the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2022 pageant, the Talent Competition, was held on Sunday, October 30 at Estate 101 in Maraval. At the end of the impressive showcase of talents, the Top 3 were announced and they are Miss Carenage, Lystia Mulzac; Miss Cunupia, Dania Duntin; and Miss Maracas Valley, Ache Abrahams. One winner of this challenge will also automatically earn a spot in the Top 10 during the final on November 6 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), Port of Spain. Miss World Curacao 2022 is Nashaira Belisa Balentien

Nashaira Belisa Balentien was officially crowned as Miss World Curacao 2022 in a special coronation ceremony held on Saturday, October 29 in Willemstad. The 25-year-old philanthropist, entrepreneur, and future lawyer succeeded last year's titleholder Alvinette Soliana and will now prepare to represent Curacao at the 71st Miss World pageant. No stranger to pageantry, Nashaira previously held the title Miss Universe Curacao. She went on to participate in Miss Universe 2017 which was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA but unfortunately missed placing in the Top 16. The new Miss World Curacao is passionate about helping other people. She started a foundation in 2013 and has been organizing projects in Curacao, Colombia, and some African countries. Her company, Pageant House Limited, is actively involved in philanthropy through the Pageant House Foundation. Curacao, a Dutch Caribbean island, has yet to win the Miss World pageant since joining in 1975. Its highest placement was Top 20 in 202

The Top 5 finalists for the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2022 Beauty With A Purpose (BWAP) fast track challenge have been officially announced. This challenge showcases the contestants' inspirational projects and the social causes they advocate. The winner will automatically earn a spot in the Top 10 which will be announced during the final on November 6 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), Port of Spain. Following a lengthy and deliberative selection process, the chosen finalists are Miss Cunupia, Dania Duntin; Miss Maracas Valle, Ache Abrahams; Miss San Juan, Savannah Sandy; Miss Arima, Jemima Pierre; and Miss Diamond Vale, Emma-Leigh Aqui. Miss Botswana 2022 is Lesego Chombo

Lesego Chombo edged out nine other finalists to be crowned Miss Botswana 2022 on Saturday, October 22 at the Fairscape Precinct in Gaborone. The 24-year-old all-rounder beauty from Maun holds a law degree from the University of Botswana and is currently a practicing attorney at the High Court of Botswana. She will now prepare to represent her country at the 71st Miss World pageant, whose date and venue are yet to be announced. Tshepo Nthaga and Sebaga Manyapetsa were named the first and second princesses, respectively. Last year's winner Palesa Molefe passed the crown to her successor at the end of the event which was also attended by the reigning Miss World from Poland, Karolina Bielawska. Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 2022 is Miss Abia, Ada Eme

Ada Eme, a 24-year-old model and event planner representing Abia, was proclaimed the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 2022 in a glittering national competition held on Friday, October 21 at Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos. The new queen bested 36 other contestants to win the 34th MBGN edition and clinch the title of Miss World Nigeria 2022. She succeeds last year's winner Oluchi Madubuike and will now prepare to represent her country at the 71st Miss World pageant on a date yet to be announced. Miss Edo, Montana Onose Felix, finished second and received the title of Miss Universe Nigeria 2022 while Miss Anambra, Genevieve Ukatu, Miss Abuja, Ifeoma Uzogheli, and Miss Lagos, Lydia Balogun rounded out the Top 5 and took home the titles Miss Supranational Nigeria, Miss Ecowas Nigeria, and Miss Tourism Nigeria, respectively. The prestigious Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 2022 grand final is taking place tonight at the Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos. Out of 37 competitors, five queens will be crowned at the culmination of the event — MBGN World, MBGN Universe, MBGN Supranational, MBGN Ecowas, and MBGN Tourism. They will represent Nigeria at the next Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Supranational, Miss Ecowas, and Miss Tourism International pageants. Miss England 2022 is Jessica Gagen, first redhead winner in history

Miss Lancashire, Jessica Ashley Gagen from Skelmersdale bested 27 other finalists to be crowned Miss England 2022 on Monday, October 17 at the Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport. The 27-year-old model and aerospace engineering student at the University of Liverpool became the first redhead beauty to ever win the title in pageant history. She succeeds last year's winner Rehema Muthamia and will now prepare to represent England at the 71st Miss World pageant. Emily Cossey, 24, from Chelsea and Milly Everatt, 22, from Eastoft, Lincolnshire were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Miss England who also bagged the Dentakay Brightest Smile Award is no stranger to pageantry. She already participated in last year's pageant and placed first runner-up. The Miss World Trinidad and Tobago (MWTT) 2022 Top Model Competition took place on Saturday, October 15 at the Toyota Showroom South Park in San Fernando. At the end of the competition, Miss Arima (Jemima Pierre), Miss Maracas Valley (Aché Abrahams), and Miss Plymouth (Karielle Ramsden) were announced as the Top 3 and the winner will be revealed during the grand final on Sunday, November 6 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), Port of Spain. Also during the event, Daronte Guadeloupe was chosen as the Top Designer with a custom dress worn by Miss Arima. The winning dress was made from bridal satin and hand painted with acrylic fabric paint and consisted of a bustier and an eight-panel gore coat, paired with bell trousers. It was made with over 10 yards of fabric and evokes regality and epitomizes elegance and sophistication. Miss Mundo Chile 2022 is Ambar Zenteno of Las Condes

Miss Las Condes, Ambar Zenteno, was crowned Miss Mundo Chile 2022 (Miss World Chile) on Sunday, October 16 at Icon Hotel in the Las Condes district, Santiago. The 27-year-old engineer and travel enthusiast, who also won the Popular Vote and Beauty with a Purpose, succeeds last year's winner and Miss World semi-finalists Carol Drpic. Camila Vásquez of Santiago, a professional dancer and winner of Miss Talent, was announced as first runner-up. Rounding out the Top 6 finalists and also winners of fast track challenges were Sinaí Fardella of Molina (Popular Vote), Javiera Castro of Patagonia (Interview), Romina Vega of La Reina (Sports & Fitness), and Constanza Contreras of Chillán (Top Model). The new Miss Mundo Chile is an ambassador for Disautonomía Chile, an organization that raises awareness on autonomic nervous system called dysautonomia.
