Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2022 Top Model Competition


The Miss World Trinidad and Tobago (MWTT) 2022 Top Model Competition took place on Saturday, October 15 at the Toyota Showroom South Park in San Fernando.

At the end of the competition, Miss Arima (Jemima Pierre), Miss Maracas Valley (Aché Abrahams), and Miss Plymouth (Karielle Ramsden) were announced as the Top 3 and the winner will be revealed during the grand final on Sunday, November 6 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), Port of Spain.

Also during the event, Daronte Guadeloupe was chosen as the Top Designer with a custom dress worn by Miss Arima. The winning dress was made from bridal satin and hand painted with acrylic fabric paint and consisted of a bustier and an eight-panel gore coat, paired with bell trousers. It was made with over 10 yards of fabric and evokes regality and epitomizes elegance and sophistication.

Polish-American Emily Reng to represent Poland at Miss Universe 2025

Polish-American Emily Reng was officially announced by the Miss Polonia organization as Miss Universe Poland 2025 on Wednesday, October 22. The 20-year-old will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming November. Emily is a graduate of John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois and is currently a student at the University of South Carolina. The new Miss Universe Poland is no stranger to pageantry. Prior to competing at Miss Polonia 2024 where she finished second runner-up, she won the title of Miss Polish America 2024 in Chicago. Miss Universe 2025 competition kicks off in Bangkok, Thailand

The 74th Miss Universe pageant has officially commenced in Bangkok, Thailand, as over 120 beauties from across the world gather to vie for the most coveted crown. Clad in their arrival ensembles, the contestants were escorted to the Chatrium Hotel & Residence Riverside Bangkok, one of the official accommodations for this year's event. Following their arrivals, among the initial official activities lined up for the contestants were registrations, photoshoots, fittings, and rehearsals for the grand finale. The upcoming two weeks of the competition promise thrilling experiences, including a city tour of Bangkok and an exciting trip to Phuket and Pattaya City. Sarah Leena Boujaoude to represent Lebanon at Miss Universe 2025

Miss Lebanon 2024 first runner-up Sarah Leena Boujaoude has recently been officially appointed as Miss Universe Lebanon 2025. The 20-year-old fashion model and a finance student at the American University of Beirut will represent Lebanon at Miss Universe 2025. "My cause is to empower women by promoting self-acceptance and inner beauty," shared the new Miss Universe Lebanon. Miss Universe El Salvador 2025 is Giulia Zanoni of La Unión

Giulia Zanoni, representing La Unión, was crowned Miss Universe El Salvador 2025 on Friday, September 26 at Palacio Tecleño in Santa Tecla. The 20-year-old international relations student succeeds last year's winner Florence Gisselle Garcia and will represent El Salvador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Alva Echegoyen of La Paz finished first runner-up and was crowned Miss International El Salvador 2025. She will head to Japan, also this November, for Miss International 2025. Alba Rivera of San Miguel, Karen Segura of Santa Ana, and Gloria Sandoval of Usulután were named the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Portugal 2025 is Camila Vitorino

Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner Andreia Correia passed on her crown to her successor at the end of the event. "It is with great honor that I carry this sash on my chest representing all women, all mothers and the Portuguese people. Miss Universe Laos 2025 is Lattana Munvilay

Lattana Munvilay was crowned Miss Universe Laos 2025 last Sunday, September 21 at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Vientiane. The 31-year-old model and actress from Salavan province succeeds last year's winner Phiranya Thipphomvong. She will represent Laos at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Soudavone Inthavong of Luang Namtha and Lothjana Khounnavong of Houaphanh were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Universe Laos has already joined the national competition twice. She placed second runner-up in 2019 and 2022. Lattana graduated from Vientiane High School and went on to study architecture at the National University of Laos. She has been modeling since 2017 and also appeared in a Laotian drama film "The Long Walk" directed by Mattie Do. Naima Acosta was crowned Miss Universe Switzerland 2025 during the national final on Saturday, September 27 at the Kursaal Arena in Bern. The 20-year-old Swiss-Mexican beauty from Ticino will now prepare to represent Switzerland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Lisa Barras from Fribourg and Melina Malonga Matouba from Geneva placed second and third, respectively. The new Miss Universe Switzerland bested 18 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeded last year's winner Laura Bircher from Stans.
