Jasmine Stringer bested over 30 other competitors to be crowned Miss World Australia 2023 in a glittering competition held on Friday, August 18 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. The 26-year-old Gold Coast-born primary school teacher will now represent Australia at Miss World 2024. She succeeds last year's winner Kristen Wright who will travel to Mumbai, India for Miss World 2023 later this year. Gabriella Oxley was named first runner-up while Jennifer Sochima, Chloe Hardy, and Jennifer Kim were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
