Miss World Malta 2023 is Martine Cutajar

Martine Cutajar bested over 20 other competitors to be crowned Miss World Malta 2023 in a glittering event held on Wednesday, July 26 at Fort St. Elmo in Valletta.

The 23-year-old model is now expected to represent the country at Miss World 2024 while her predecessor, last year's winner Natalia Galea will go to Miss World 2023 in India this December.

Amber Debono was named first runner-up while Graziella Debono, who bagged the Beauty With A Purpose award, was announced as the second runner-up.

Emily Pace Delicata and Kim Grima rounded out the Top 5 finalists while Briana Cassar received the People's Choice award.

The new Miss World Malta is no stranger to pageantry, having joined the pageant in 2016 and participated in various national competitions including Miss Universe and Miss Supranational Malta.

Last night's event also culminated with Slaven Micallef being proclaimed the winner of Mr World Malta 2023. The 26-year-old footballer and model will now proceed to compete in the Mr World pageant.

Giorgio Dolce and Sven Pavia were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Angelico Briffa (People's Choice winner) and Sean Jenkins were the rest of the Top 5 finalists.
