Miss Mundo Colombia 2023 is Catalina Quintero of Amazonas


Catalina Quintero, representing Amazonas, was crowned Miss Mundo Colombia 2023 (Miss World Colombia 2023) in a national competition held on Saturday, August 12 at Club Militar de Oficiales in Bogotá.

The 23-year-old graduate of international business administration with a minor in sustainability from the Universidad de La Sabana will now represent Colombia at the 72nd Miss World (Miss World 2024).

Salomé Cuartas of Medellín was named Virreina Miss Mundo Colombia while Luisa Lizcano of Norte de Santander and Jenifer Pulgarín of Meta were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Rounding out the Top 8 were María Antonia Ruiz of Antioquia, Adriana Zayira Castro of Boyacá, Hilsse Barrios of Casanare, and Luisana Muñoz of Magdalena.

The representatives of Cali, Valentina Hoyos, Cauca, Valentina Carmona, Cesar, Yesenia Roman, Chocó, Ingrid Mosquera, Huila, Maria Paula Jimenez, Pereira, Margarita Ruiz, Santander, María Camila Pinilla, and Valle, Paula Andrea Tovar were the rest of the Top 16 semifinalists.

Last year's winner, Camila Andrea Pinzon, who will compete in the Miss World 2023 pageant in Mumbai, India this December, crown her successor at the end of the event.
