From 50 beauties, only the Top 25 have been officially selected to move on to the upcoming final of Miss Mondo Italia 2024 (Miss World Italy). The grand final will be held next Sunday, June 16 at Ecoresort Le Sirenè - Caroli Hotels in Gallipoli. Last year's winner, Chiara Esposito, will crown her successor at the end of the event. Italian TV personality Giorgia Palmas will host the show while singer-songwriter Ivana Spagna will be the special guest performer. The next Miss Mondo Italia is expected to represent Italy at the 73rd Miss World competition. Julia Aguilar was crowned the new Miss World Nicaragua 2024 in a special coronation ceremony held on Friday, May 31 in Managua. The 20-year-old from the Nicaraguan department of Granada has been appointed to replace the original winner Ismeli Jarquín, who resigned for personal reasons. Monica Kezia Sembiring was crowned Miss Indonesia 2024 (Miss World Indonesia 2024) in a glittering competition held on Wednesday, May 29 at Studio RCTI+ in Jakarta. The 22-year-old from the North Sumatra province bested 37 other contestants to win the national title. She is expected to represent her country at the 72nd Miss World festival. Carita Adity of D.I Yogyakarta placed first runner-up while Anna Dananjaya of Bali, Priyanka Ariffia of DKI Jakarta, and Arindina Taim of Aceh were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The 23-year-old qualified beach lifeguard from Newquay, Cornwall bested 39 other contestants to win the national title. The Miss Czech Republic 2024 concluded on Saturday, May 11 with Adéla Štroffeková winning the national title from a field of 10 finalists. The 21-year-old model from Prague, who was also named Miss World Czech Republic 2024, received her crown from reigning Miss World Krystyna Pyszková. Jeymi Escobedo was crowned Miss World Guatemala 2024 during the glittering Miss Guatemala 2024 final on Wednesday, May 1 at Teatro Dick Smith in Guatemala City. The 18-year-old, representing the department of Suchitepéquez, succeeds  Marcela Miranda and will now prepare to represent Guatemala at the 72nd Miss World. Valeria Pérez was crowned Miss Mundo Puerto Rico 2024 (Miss World Puerto Rico 2024) on Saturday, April 6 at Centro de Bellas Artes de Humacao. The 22-year-old biology graduate hailing from Manatí bested 29 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds  Miss World Puerto Rico 2022 who placed in the Top 40 at the 71st Miss World , Elena Rivera. Following her victorious stint at the 71st Miss World in India, Krystyna Pyszková returned home on Sunday, March 24 to a warm homecoming in Czech Republic. Fresh from London, the beauty queen touched down in Prague where she was warmly received by her family, friends, and the media. Also present during her arrival at the airport were Miss Czech Republic national director Taťána Makarenko and her team. The next day, Monday, March 25, a homecoming press conference was held for the new Miss World at The Old Town Hall in her country's capital city. Shania Ballester was crowned Miss Gibraltar 2024 (Miss World Gibraltar 2024) on Saturday, March 23 at the John Mackintosh Hall Theatre, Gibraltar. The 19-year-old will represent the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar at the 72nd Miss World which is expected to be held early next year. Aside from the coveted title, she also bagged the Best Interview, Miss Top Model, Miss People's Choice, and Miss Photogenic awards.  Phoebe Noble was named the first princess while Lauren Shephard was the second princess.
