It's official — Miss World 2023, the 71st Miss World final, will be held on December 16 in India's capital city of New Delhi. The Miss World Organization mentioned the news when the reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska and CEO Julia Morley went to the Philippines this week. "After their Manila visit, Julia and Karolina will be in preparation for the much-awaited 71st edition of the Miss World Final to be held in New Delhi, India on December 16th." New Delhi has great historical significance as an important commercial, transportation, and cultural center, as well as the political hub of India. The city is home to the iconic India Gate, a war memorial built in memory of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives fighting for the British Army in World War I. This is India's second time hosting Miss World after 1996 in Bangalore.
