Five Miss World winners to attend the 71st Miss World Festival pre-event press conference in New Delhi


Make sure to mark your calendars for an exciting event happening on February 9 as five former Miss World winners will be joining Miss World Chairman Julia Morley at the 71st Miss World Festival pre-event Press Conference. This highly anticipated gathering will be held at The Ashok Hotel in New Delhi at 11 a.m.

This occasion is truly special as it will be the first time that five Miss World winners will come together to promote this extraordinary event. They will be sharing thrilling details about the festival, which is scheduled to take place from February 18 to March 9 in New Delhi and Mumbai, showcasing the beauty of Incredible India.

Karolina Bielawska, Toni-Ann Singh, Vanessa Ponce de Leon, Manushi Chhillar, and Stephanie Del Valle, who were crowned Miss World in previous years, are making a special trip to India just to attend this event. Their presence adds an extra level of excitement and glamour to the press conference.

In addition to this, on February 18, nearly 120 Beauty With a Purpose national ambassadors will arrive in New Delhi to participate in a series of events leading up to the grand final on March 9. The final show will be held at The Jio World Centre in Mumbai, promising to be a spectacular and unforgettable night.

For those who are unable to attend the press conference in person, there is no need to worry! The event will be live-streamed on the official Miss World website, www.missworld.com, at 12 noon India time or 6:30 p.m. GMT on February 9. This allows fans from all around the world to be a part of this momentous occasion and witness the excitement firsthand.

Miss Michigan USA 2024 is Alma Cooper

Miss Okemos, Alma Cooper was crowned Miss Michigan USA 2024 on Sunday, April 21 at McMorran Entertainment Center in Port Huron, Michigan. The 22-year-old scholar, advocate and US Army officer will now prepare to represent Michigan at Miss USA 2024 in Hollywood, California this August. Alma holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point. The second lieutenant officer is also a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, currently pursuing her master's degree in data science at Stanford University in California. She succeeds last year's winner, Alexis Fagan-Williams. Ukraine's Angelina Usanova crowned Miss Eco International 2024

Angelina Usanova from Ukraine was crowned Miss Eco International 2024 on Sunday, April 28 at the Triumph Luxury Hotel in Cairo, Egypt. The 26-year-old singer-songwriter bested over 40 other contestants to win the international title. She succeeds last year's winner from Vietnam, Nguyen Thanh Ha. Chantal Schmidt of the Philippines was announced first runner-up while Nikita Dani of Canada, Fabiane Alcarde Goia of Brazil, and Valerie Avril of Indonesia were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Pia Theissen was crowned Miss Universe Germany 2024 on Sunday, April 28 at Living Hotel de Medici in Düsseldorf. The 25-year-old social worker, occupational therapist and yoga teacher from Cologne will now prepare to represent Germany at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico later this year. Annabelle Keller and Ilke Filiz were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Angelina Matic, Jennifer Monreal, and Tatjana Genrich rounded out the Top 6 finalists. Miss Universe Netherlands' national director Milou Verhoeks, reigning Miss Denmark Nikoline Uhrenholt Hansen, and former Miss Universe Germany Soraya Kohlmann were among the judges. The Miss Philippines Earth 2024 Beach Wear Competition was held on Thursday, April 25 in Borongan City, the capital of the province of Eastern Samar. Former Mr World South Africa, Fezile Mkhize, was officially announced as Mister Supranational South Africa 2024 on Saturday, April 27 at Asteria Group Holdings in Pretoria. The 33-year-old medical doctor and television presenter succeeds last year's winner  Tylo Ribeiro and will now prepare to represent South Africa at Mister Supranational 2024 in Poland this July. Hlumelo Matsha was named first runner-up while Michael Benevolent finished as second runner-up. The new Mister Supranational South Africa hails from Port Shepstone in KwaZulu Natal and is now based in Johannesburg.
