Miss World 2023 final will be in New Delhi, India on December 16


It's official — Miss World 2023, the 71st Miss World final, will be held on December 16 in India's capital city of New Delhi.

The Miss World Organization mentioned the news when the reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska and CEO Julia Morley went to the Philippines this week.

"After their Manila visit, Julia and Karolina will be in preparation for the much-awaited 71st edition of the Miss World Final to be held in New Delhi, India on December 16th."

New Delhi has great historical significance as an important commercial, transportation, and cultural center, as well as the political hub of India.

The city is home to the iconic India Gate, a war memorial built in memory of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives fighting for the British Army in World War I.

This is India's second time hosting Miss World after 1996 in Bangalore. Over 100 beauties from around the world are expected to compete for the coveted title during the month-long Miss World festival.

Femina Miss India World 2026: Sadhvi Sail from Goa wins the crown

Sadhvi Sail bested 29 other contestants to win the Femina Miss India 2026 pageant last Saturday, April 18 at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology in Bhubaneswar. The 24-year-old beauty from Goa state was crowned by her predecesor Nikita Porwal and will represent India at the 74th Miss World competition next year. Rajnandini Pawar of Maharashtra and Sree Advaita of Union Territory were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Paraguay 2026 is Gretha Matiauda

Former Miss Earth Paraguay Gretha Matiauda has recently been appointed as her country's official representative in the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. The 24-year-old beauty from Asunción is an economist, international model and entrepreneur. She succeeds last year's titleholder Yanina Gómez who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025. Filipino-American Bea Millan-Windorski has recently been appointed as the official representative for the province of La Union at Miss Universe Philippines 2026. Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. Luren Márquez was crowned Miss Peru 2026 (Miss Universe Peru) in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, April 15 at the Teatro Municipal del Callao. The spectacular Miss Universe Philippines 2026 national costume competition took place on Thursday, April 16 at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center in Pangasinan. Victoria DiSorbo was crowned Miss World America 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, October 5 at the Meydenbauer Center Theatre in Bellevue, Washington.
