Miss Grand Vietnam 2021 is Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien

Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien was officially named as the newly-appointed Miss Grand Vietnam 2021 on Thursday, August 12. She succeeds Miss Grand Vietnam 2020, Thao Le Ngoc Nguyen. The 23-year-old beauty will represent Vietnam at the Miss Grand International 2021 competition later this year. Thuy Tien is no stranger to pageantry as she placed in the Top 5 during Miss Vietnam 2018 and went on to represent her country at Miss International 2018. Miss Supranational 2021: Puerto Rico's Karla Guilfu wins Miss Elegance

Puerto Rico's Karla Guilfu was named Miss Elegance 2021 in a special red carpet event held at the Muszyna City Hall in Małopolska on Friday, August 13. Miss Supranational Philippines Dindi Pajares and Miss Supranational Dominican Republic Eoanna Constanza were the first and second runners-up, respectively. The certified yoga instructor and model who hails from Isla Culebra will compete with over 50 other contestants in the 12th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant. Miss Earth Belize 2021 is Aarti Sooknadan

Aarti Sooknandan was officially announced Miss Earth Belize 2021 last Sunday, August 8. She succeeds Miss Earth Belize 2018, Renae Shereze Martinez. The 26-year-old social content strategist holds a bachelor's degree in advertising and marketing from the University of South Florida and a master's in business administration from Nova Southeastern University where graduated as magna cum laude. "My Beautiful Belize, it is a distinct honor and immense privilege to be representing our jewel as your [Miss Earth Belize 2021]," Aarti shared on social media "Belize, you are my home that is always in my heart, and I promise to make you proud at the [Miss Earth] pageant later this year," she added. The new Miss Earth Belize is a model, entrepreneur, public speaker, painter, and ballet dancer. Miss Supranational 2021 contestants enjoy sightseeing in Poland

Over 50 contestants from around the world are currently in Poland competing for the coveted title of Miss Supranational 2021. Following their official sashing ceremony at the Sheraton Hotel in Krakow over the weekend, the contestants were taken to spectacular sightseeing. They visited the historical city of Krakow, the second largest and one of the oldest cities in the host country, and the famous Stacja Narciarska in Jaworzyna Krynicka where they enjoyed the clear views of the Tantra mountains and a thrilling 10-minute cable-car ride. Standouts are the Philippines, Belgium, Namibia, Puerto Rico, Thailand, USA, Indonesia, Netherlands, Dominican Republic, Romania, Peru, Brazil, Venezuela, Czech Republic, India, and Poland. Miss Philippines Earth 2021 is Naelah Alshorbaji

Miss Parañaque City, Naelah Alshorbaji, was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2021 in a virtual coronation held on Sunday, August 8. The 23-year-old Filipino-Syrian commercial model and mental health advocate bested 65 other beauties from across her country to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner and Miss Earth - Water Roxanne Allison Baeyens of Baguio City. Ameera Almamari, Rocel Angelah Songano, Roni Meneses, and Sofia Grace Galve were named Miss Philippines Air, Water, Fire, and Eco-Tourism, respectively. Naelah will represent the Philippines at the Miss Earth 2021 pageant, whose date and venue are yet to be announced. The 21-year-old kinesiology student and classical ballet dancer will represent Chile at the Miss World 2021 pageant to be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico this December. Dindi Pajares of Orani, Bataan has been officially announced as Miss Supranational Philippines 2021 on Saturday, July 24. The 28-year-old international flight attended and Philippine Air Force (PAF) reservist was voted by her fellow Miss World Philippines contestants. Miss World Philippines 2021 was scheduled to be held on Sunday, July 25 at Okada Manila but moved to August 8 due to the COVID-19 restrictions. Israel to host the 70th Miss Universe pageant

For the first time in history, the 70th Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2021) pageant will be hosted in Israel. Israel's Tourism Ministry and the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) made the official announcement on Tuesday, July 20. A Middle Eastern country on the Mediterranean Sea, Israel is regarded by Jews, Christians, and Muslims as the biblical Holy Land. "Israel has been on our shortlist of host countries for a number of years due to its rich history, beautiful landscapes, myriad of cultures, and appeal as a global tourist destination," the MUO President Paula Shugart said. The international pageant is set to take place this December in the country's southernmost city of Eilat, a southern Israeli port and resort town on the Red Sea, near Jordan. It is renowned for its spectacular combination of the surrounding desert landscape, the beautiful bay, and the summer sun that shines all year round. Miss Hokkaido, Konatsu Yoshida, was crowned Miss Earth Japan 2021 in a national pageant held on Tuesday, July 20 in Tokyo. The 26-year-old professional ballet dancer studied art in Berlin, Germany, and joined the Hamburg National Theatre. She aspires to become a model and actress in the future. Aomori's Haruka Miura placed second while Mari Fujita of Osaka and Rina Takehara of Tokyo completed the Top 4 finalists. They were named Miss Air, Water, and Fire, respectively. Ora Antonia Ivanišević bested 14 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Croatia 2021 on Wednesday, July 14 at Esplanade Zagreb Hotel. The 20-year-old tourism management student from Dubrovnik succeeds last year's winner Mirna Naiia Marić. She will represent Croatia at the 70th Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2021) pageant later this year. Lorena Mustać from Privlaka and Ozana Franović from Split were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Matea Babić and Ivona Gradečak completed the Top 5.
