The representatives of Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands for the 60th Miss International pageant have been selected in a special event that took place last weekend at Beej Bertje in Maastricht. Loren Venx was named Miss International Belgium 2022 while Jasmin Selberg and Marisol Soliana were awarded the titles Miss International Germany and Netherlands, respectively. Joining them was Miss International 2020/2021 France Maya Albert, who won her own title last year in the northern french city of Roubaix. The "Miss International Festival" event was organized by pageant director Katia Maes, a Belgian native who is now based in the Netherlands. Filipino-Chinese Charmaine Maurice Fallaria Ng was crowned Miss Earth Singapore 2022 in a glittering competition that took place last night at the One Farrer Hotel. The 23-year-old registered nurse bested 13 other finalists to win the national title. She will now prepare to represent Singapore at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines this November. Priscilla Pang Xin Pei was named Miss Earth Singapore Air, while Alethea Yee, Anna Yang, and Xue Jing Pang clinched the titles Miss Earth Singapore Water, Fire, and Ecotourism, respectively. Miss Earth Singapore 2022 final competition will be held tonight at the Grand Ballroom of One Farrer Hotel, Singapore. Three of this year's Binibining Pilipinas (Miss Philippines) titleholders will have an official send-off party this Monday, September 19 in Araneta City. Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental Gabriella Basiano, Binibining Pilipinas Globe Chelsea Fernandez, and Binibining Pilipinas Grand International Roberta Tamondong will soon depart for their international competitions this October. Vietnam's Bui Quynh Hoa was crowned Supermodel International 2022 on Thursday, September 15 at the MAYA Lifestyle Shopping Center in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The 24-year-old model from Hanoi, who placed in the Top 10 at Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, bested 18 other contestants to win the 10th edition of the pageant. Messry Lung'atso of Kenya won the Beauty of Africa International Pageant (BAIP) 2022 competition on Friday, September 9 at the Sheraton Hotel in Abuja, Nigeria. Oh Wei Qi was crowned Miss World Singapore 2022 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, September 10 at the state-of-the-art The Theatre at Mediacorp. The 23-year-old artist and entrepreneur will now prepare to represent Singapore at the 71st Miss World pageant. She succeeds last year's titleholder Khailing Ho.
