Elise-Gayonne Mariliz Vernon was crowned Miss World Belize 2022 on Saturday, October 29 at the Ramada Princess Hotel in Belize City. The 21-year-old farmer and beekeeper from the village of Biscayne in Belize District received the national crown from last year's titleholder Markeisha Young. Miss Belgium 2022 Chayenne van Aarle has now been officially confirmed to represent her country at the 71st Miss Universe pageant. The 23-year-old bilingual flight attendant from Antwerp won her beauty title during the national competition held at the Proximus Theater in De Panne in March. "Chayenne grew up in a castle full of neglected animals, from which her love for animals was born. As a child, she walked among zebras, kangaroos, camels and alpacas," the Miss Belgium Organization posted about her on social media. A week after the spectacular final show in Jakarta, Indonesia, the winners of the highly talked about Miss Grand International 2022 competition arrived in Bangkok, Thailand on Tuesday, November 1.
