Miss New Hampshire USA 2023 is Britney Lane

Miss Hooksett, Britney Lane was crowned Miss New Hampshire USA 2023 on Saturday, February 18 at the Music Hall Theater in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The 26-year-old child and adolescent therapist from Manchester (NH) was also awarded Miss Photogenic and Miss Congeniality. She will now represent New Hampshire at the Miss USA 2023 national pageant in Reno, Nevada on a date yet to be announced. Miss Seacoast, Ariel Michaela, was named first runner-up while Miss White Mountains, Katie Smith, Miss Southern New Hampshire, Carson Viscarello, and Miss Nashua, Laura Christman were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. For the teens' division, Miss Nippo Lake Marayssa Raimondo bagged the title of Miss New Hampshire Teen USA 2023. Fresh from her memorable trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the 71st Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel of the USA arrived on Sunday, February 19 at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, Indonesia. She will be attending the upcoming grand launching of Miss Universe Indonesia under PT Capella Swastika Karya this week together with her second runner-up Andreína Martínez Founier of the Dominican Republic and Top 5 finalist Gabriëla Dos Santos of Curacao. They will be staying at the beautiful TS Suites Seminyak, an urban lifestyle hotel in Bali, for the duration of their visit to the country. After that, the queens are expected to continue their tour to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for the grand reveal of the new Miss Universe Vietnam organizers on Friday, February 24. New Miss Universe Malaysia launched, first Miss Universe private jet revealed

Newly formed Miss Universe Malaysia was launched in a press conference held on Friday, February 17 at the Astor Ballroom of the St. Regis Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event officially introduced Indonesian singer Poppy Capella of Just Capella as the new license holder. She is also the owner of Jakarta-based PT Capella Swastika Karya which recently acquired Miss Universe Indonesia. Also announced joining her team is appointed CEO Dato' Westin Chew, a Malaysian businessman and hands-on chief executive officer who has over a decade of experience in various fields. Miss Universe Belize's director withdraws from Miss Universe Organization

Romeo Escobar, the national director of Miss Universe Belize for the past five years, announced his withdrawal from the Miss Universe Organization in an official statement released on Thursday, February 16. He mentioned MUO's recent "changes and implementations on its business model including franchise bidding under JKN Global Group's ownership" as the reason for his decision to give up his national franchise. The three-time Emmy Award winner and "Survivor 42" runner-up added, "This does not align with the way I conduct business and I believe it is not a sustainable way to keep a partnership long-term with its directors." He also confessed to struggling to get the financial backing needed to run the national pageant organization because, according to his statement, "no one cared or wanted to be associated with pageants in Belize at all." Miss Charm Brazil Luma Russo bested 37 other contestants to be crowned Miss Charm 2023 on Thursday, February 16 Hoa Binh Theater in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The 27-year-old pilot and model made history by becoming the first-ever woman to win the Vietnam-based international beauty pageant. She also won a cash prize worth 100,000 US dollars. After four hectic but wonderful days in Bangkok, Thailand, the 71st Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday, February 16. Alongside her Miss Universe 2022 sisters from the Dominican Republic, Andreína Martínez Founier, and Curacao, Gabriëla Dos Santos, she will be attending the official launching of Miss Universe Malaysia which was acquired by a new organization. The beauty queens were greeted with bouquets of flowers by excited fans and members of the press during their arrival at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
