71st Miss Universe arrives in Bali for launching of Miss Universe Indonesia


Fresh from her memorable trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the 71st Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel of the USA arrived on Sunday, February 19 at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, Indonesia.

She will be attending the upcoming grand launching of Miss Universe Indonesia under PT Capella Swastika Karya this week together with her second runner-up Andreína Martínez Founier of the Dominican Republic and Top 5 finalist Gabriëla Dos Santos of Curacao.


They will be staying at the beautiful TS Suites Seminyak, an urban lifestyle hotel in Bali, for the duration of their visit to the country. After that, the queens are expected to continue their tour to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for the grand reveal of the new Miss Universe Vietnam organizers on Friday, February 24.

This is R'Bonney's second visit to Indonesia this month. She was earlier in Lombok for a commercial shoot before heading to Bangkok, Thailand to begin her official Asian tour with her Miss Universe 2022 sisters.

Miss Universe Canada 2025 is Jaime VandenBerg

Jaime VandenBerg was announced the winner of Miss Universe Canada 2025 on Saturday, August 9 at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor, Ontario. The 28-year-old international model and actress from Lethbridge, Alberta will represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Karmen Brar was named first runner-up while Jabili Kandula, Malayika Kwizera, and Kamuahao Hei weret the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Zashely Alicea Rivera, representing Dorado, was crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2025 on Thursday, August 14 at Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce in San Juan. The 25-year-old psychology graduate, professional ballet dancer and model will represent Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Samarys Barbot Arroyo of Jayuya was named first runner-up while Isys Arimar Santos Crespo of  Vieques, Marisabel Rivera Negrón of Ponce and  Aneichka Maldonado Torres of Canóvanas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Ivana Carolina Irizarry, representing Puerto Rico, was crowned Universal Woman 2025 on Saturday, August 10 in Jaipur, India. The 30-year-old model, presenter and businesswoman made history as the first Puerto Rican woman to clinch the international title. She succeeds last year's winner Maria Gigante of the Philippines. Queensland's Lexie Brant was proclaimed the winner of Miss Universe Australia 2025 on Friday, August 15 at Crown Perth in Burswood, Western Australia. Gabrielle Henry bested over 20 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Jamaica 2025 on Saturday, August 9 at AC Hotel in Kingston. The 28-year-old medical doctor will represent Jamaica at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. She succeeds last year's winner Rachel Silvera. Jennifer Ventura Marte emerged as the winner of Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2025 on Sunday, August 10 at Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito in Santo Domingo. The 27-year-old civil engineer from Barahona bested 28 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent the Dominican Republic at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November.
