Miss Universe Peru 2023 is Camila Escribens

Camila Escribens (right) bested 24 other competitors to win Miss Peru 2023 (Miss Universe Peru 2023) during the live telecast of the reality TV show "Esto es Guerra" on Thursday, May 18 in Lima. The 24-year-old fashion model and former Miss Grand Peru clinched the title in her third attempt at the national pageant and will now represent her country at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador later this year. Rounding out the Top 5 finalists were Suheyn Cipriani, Nathaly Terrones, Gianella Rázuri, and Alexandra Balarezo. They were announced as the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Peru was crowned by her predecessor Alessia Rovegno, the winner from last year who placed in the Top 16 at the 71st Miss Universe in New Orleans. Puteri Indonesia 2023 is Farhana Nariswari Wisandana of West Java

Farhana Nariswari Wisandana, who represented Jawa Barat, was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2023 (Miss International Indonesia 2023) on Friday, May 19 at Jakarta Convention Center. The 26-year-old beauty from Bandung will now represent Indonesia at Miss International 2023 in Tokyo. She is the first winner who will not compete in Miss Universe since Puteri Indonesia lost the franchise for Miss Universe Indonesia. Yasinta Aurellia of Jawa Timur was named Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2023 (Miss Supranational Indonesia 2023) and will go to Miss Supranational 2023 in Poland. Clinching the title Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2023 (Miss Charm Indonesia 2024) was Lulu Zaharani Krisna Widodo of Lampung and she will proceed to Miss Charm 2024 in Vietnam. The representatives of Bangka Belitung, Patricia Bella Olina, DKI Jakarta, Puteri Modiyanti, and DI Yogyakarta, Dinda Nur Safira rounded out the Top 6 finalists. Miss Costa Rica 2022 first runner-up Kristell Ruiz Freeman has been officially announced as Miss Grand Costa Rica 2023 on Friday, May 19 in San José. The 26-year-old journalist, audiovisual producer, and bilingual from the province of Limón will now represent Costa Rica at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam this October. Kristell was crowned by her predecessor Brenda Muñoz, last year's titleholder and representative during the 10th Miss Grand International in Indonesia. The ceremony took place at Studio Gama Producciones in the Costa Rican capital city. No stranger to pageantry, she took part in Miss Costa Rica 2022 last September and placed first runner-up to María Fernanda Rodríguez Ávila who went Miss Universe 2022 in New Orleans. The state finals for the Miss Universe Australia 2023 pageant kicked off on Tuesday, May 16 at The Feathers Hotel in Burnside. From South Australia, the winners Mia Dalkos and Emily Rogers will now proceed to the national final this September in Melbourne. For Queensland, held on Wednesday, May 17 at Transcontinental Hotel in Brisbane, a total of five finalists have been chosen. The much-awaited 26th Puteri Indonesia edition will be held this Friday, May 19 at the Plenary Hall of the Jakarta Convention Center. A total of 45 contestants from 34 Indonesian provinces are vying for the crowns at stake and the opportunity to represent Indonesia at Miss International 2023, Miss Supranational 2023, and  Miss Charm 2024. Mister and Miss Supranational United States 2023 national final will be held this Sunday, May 21 at The East Angel in Los Angeles, California. The event will be hosted by reigning Miss California USA Tiffany Johnson while Miss Earth Air 2021 Marisa Paige Butler will be a special guest judge. Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2023 contestants' official presentation

Following weeks of anticipation, the 33 beautiful women vying for the title of Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2023 have been officially presented on Tuesday, May 16. The special presentation took place at the iconic Casa Alcaldía del Municipio de San Juan (San Juan City Hall) with the presence of the city mayor Miguel Romero who believes the pageant can help boost the tourism and economic development of the island's capital. This year's national competition will have its final night at Centro de Bellas Artes de San Juan on Tuesday, August 24, and will broadcast live from 7 p.m. on Wapa TV and Wapa América. From the 30 semifinalists revealed on March 25, only the Top 10 will now proceed to the grand final on July 8 at the MTC Dome in Swakopmund. The official announcement of the finalists came after the preliminary show held on Saturday, May 13 at the Droombos Vineyard Country Lodge in Windhoek. Miss Palm Harbor, Caroline Dixon was crowned Miss Florida USA 2023 on Sunday, May 14 at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts in Coral Springs, Florida. The 25-year-old alumna of the Florida State University succeeded last year's winner Taylor Fulford and will now represent the sunshine state of Florida at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada. Victoria DiSorbo of South Palm Beach County, Narissa Adside of North Holmstead, Samantha Washington of East Miami, Christiana Dinardo of South Boca Raton, and Aileen Cerchiara of Belleaire Beach were announced as runners-up. Rounding out the Top 13 semifinalists were Erika Feazell, Breauna Washington, Briona Jones, Alayzia Christopher, Kelsey Fagan, Katia Gerry, and Juliandra De Jesus. Miss Sheridan County, Beck Bridger was crowned Miss Wyoming USA 2023 on Saturday, May 13 at the CAM-PLEX Heritage Center Theater in Gillette. The 27-year-old US Army soldier and vocalist from Sheridan will now represent the state of Wyoming at Miss USA 2023 pageant in Reno, Nevada this fall. Grace Turner of Jackson, Olivia Moretti of Uinta County, Katherine Welniak of Albany County, and Baylee Drewry of Big Horn County were announced as the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
