Miss South Africa 2023 Top 30 contestants officially revealed

The Top 30 contestants vying to become Miss South Africa 2023 have been officially revealed on Wednesday, May 24 exclusively on the Miss SA App. From 30, only the Top 12, to be announced this June, will have the chance to move on to the finals whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Fan voting on the pageant's official app is now open and will close on Sunday, May 28 at 1 p.m. local time (SAST) so don't miss voting for your favorites to enter the next round of the competition. Jasmin Selberg visits the Philippines for Binibining Pilipinas 2023

Fresh from her trip to Vietnam, the reigning Miss International Jasmin Selberg arrived in Manila, Philippines on Thursday, May 25 for her first official visit to the country. The beauty queen will be attending as a special guest in the upcoming 59th edition of the Binibining Pilipinas pageant where the next representative of the Philippines for Miss International will be crowned. Upon her arrival at Novotel Manila in Araneta City, Jasmin met the reigning queens of Binibining Pilipinas and also reunited with former Miss International Philippines Hannah Arnold, a Top 15 semifinalist during last year's Miss International pageant in Tokyo, Japan. The 23 contestants vying for Miss Ecuador 2023 (Miss Universe Ecuador) have been officially presented and sashed on Monday, May 22 at the municipal hall of Santo Domingo. The last group of finalists vying for Miss Universe Australia 2023 were announced during the Miss West Coast state final held on Wednesday, May 24 at The Camfield in Perth. Representing Western Australia in September's national final are Vimbayi Hakutangwi, Somaya O'Donnell, Natasha Huisman, Brooklyn Metropolis, Mary Lopez, and Khloe Hicks. Reigning Miss International Jasmin Selberg visits Vietnam

Germany's Jasmin Selberg touched down in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, May 22 for her first official visit to Vietnam since winning Miss International 2022 last December. Accompanied by Miss International executive Stephen Diaz, the Estonia-born beauty arrived wearing the Long Beach Pearl crown to a warm welcome from Vietnamese fans eagerly waiting for her at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. In a social media post, Jasmin shared a lovely message to fans. She wrote: "Cam on (thank you) Vietnam for welcoming me so beautifully. The hospitality of you really warms my heart." Kaitlyn Clarke was proclaimed Miss Northern Ireland 2023 (Miss World Northern Ireland 2023) in a glittering competition held on Monday, May 22 at Europa Hotel in Belfast. The 27-year-old social media executive for Part Three Digital from County Antrim will now prepare to represent Northern Ireland at the 72nd Miss World (Miss World 2024) pageant. Molly Rodgers from Limavady and Evie Judge from Portadown were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Daria Gapska, last year's winner who crowned her successor as Miss Northern Ireland, is expected to compete in Miss World 2023. Following South Australia and Queensland, two more states selected their respective representatives for the Miss Universe Australia 2023 national final. The state final for New South Wales was held on Friday, May 19 at Café del Mar in Sydney. Four finalists have been announced from the premiere state — Vitoria Camporeale, Tash Knox, Sené Maluwapi, and Farida Rakhmanova. On Sunday, May 21, the Victoria state final was held at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins where a total of seven winners emerged. Miss Kansas City, Autumn Black was crowned Miss Missouri USA 2023 on Sunday, May 21 at The Mansion Theatre for the Performing in Branson, Missouri. The 24-year-old content marketing specialist and a Mizzou alumna bested 25 other competitors to win the state title. She initiated "The Flawless Movement" to "women and girls to lead a life well lived." Miss Central Ohio, Mackenzie Schutt was crowned Miss Ohio USA 2023 in a state competition held on Saturday, May 20 at The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts in Portsmouth. The 27-year-old model and personal trainer from Columbus holds a degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Calvin University (formerly Calvin College) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mackenzie joined the pageant several times before finally winning the title. She succeeds last year's winner and Miss USA 2022 third runner-up Sir'Quora Carroll, and will now represent the state of Ohio at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada this fall. Her runners-up for the state title were finalists Emily Quinn, Macy Hudson, Katarina Putnick, Argisa Deda, and Allison Greenwood. Miss World Vietnam 2022 second runner-up Nguyen Phuong Nhi has been officially announced as Miss International Vietnam 2023. The 21-year-old beauty from Thanh Hoá succeeds Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh and will now prepare to represent Vietnam at Miss International 2023 this October in  Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Her official send-off and sashing ceremony will take place this Tuesday, March 23 at Sofitel Saigon Plaza in Ho Chi Minh City.
