Reigning Miss International Jasmin Selberg visits Vietnam

Germany's Jasmin Selberg touched down in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, May 22 for her first official visit to Vietnam since winning Miss International 2022 last December.

Accompanied by Miss International executive Stephen Diaz, the Estonia-born beauty arrived wearing the Long Beach Pearl crown to a warm welcome from Vietnamese fans eagerly waiting for her at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

In a social media post, Jasmin shared a lovely message to fans. She wrote: "Cam on (thank you) Vietnam for welcoming me so beautifully. The hospitality of you really warms my heart."

Included in her schedule for the trip were charitable activities and attending the official sashing and send-off ceremony of the newly proclaimed Miss International Vietnam 2023 Nguyen Phuong Nhi.

Together with Phuong Nhi, she visited a retirement home in HCMC to donate new mattresses for the elderly residents to provide them a better and more comfortable sleeping time.

Tuesday's glittering and jam-packed ceremony took place at the Sofitel Hotel Saigon. The event was also attended by last year's winner Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh who assisted with the sashing of her successor.
