Miss Ohio USA 2023 is Mackenzie Schutt


Miss Central Ohio, Mackenzie Schutt was crowned Miss Ohio USA 2023 in a state competition held on Saturday, May 20 at The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts in Portsmouth.

The 27-year-old model and personal trainer from Columbus holds a degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Calvin University (formerly Calvin College) in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Mackenzie joined the pageant several times before finally winning the title. She succeeds last year's winner and Miss USA 2022 third runner-up Sir'Quora Carroll, and will now represent the state of Ohio at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada this fall.

Her runners-up for the state title were finalists Emily Quinn, Macy Hudson, Katarina Putnick, Argisa Deda, and Allison Greenwood.

Katelyn Zhao, Andrea Hunter, Morgan Murchland, Mercia Stephens, Lillian Kish, Brooke Stanley, Kiyasia Hudson, Allie Moon, Megan Hiler, and Cassandra Ponzi rounded out the Top 16 semifinalists.

"I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for the outpouring of support I've had over the years from family, friends, fellow contestants, people in the audience, and fans from afar. Thank you, I couldn't do it without you all," the new Miss Ohio USA wrote in a statement on social media.

For Miss Teen USA 2023, the title went to Carolina Sola of Ohio River while the runners-up positions went to Mackenzie Gibson, Kyleigh Engle, Gabby Anderson, Aishwarya Somakandan, and Frankie Madosky.

Carolina was crowned by her predecessor, Miss Teen USA 2022 Top 16 semifinalist Kylan Darnell. She will now proceed to compete in Miss Teen USA 2023.

Miss Universe Singapore 2023 is Priyanka Annuncia

Priyanka Annuncia was crowned Miss Universe Singapore 2023 in an Amber Lounge event held on Saturday, September 16 at Millenia Walk, Singapore. The 26-year-old entrepreneur and personal trainer who just recently completed a double major in law and criminology will now prepare to represent Singapore at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. Mr Lebanon 2023 is Seif Al Walid Harb

Seif Al Walid Harb was proclaimed Mr Lebanon 2023 during the broadcast of the national competition on Sunday, October 9 on MTV Lebanon. The 23-year-old fitness trainer beat 17 other young men from various Lebanese regions to win the title. He succeeds last year's winner Hady Fakhereldine and is now expected to represent his country at the Mr World pageant. Ahmad Arzouni was announced as the first runner-up while Mohammad Abyad, Anwar Shibli, and Fares Nasereldine finished as second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Completing the Top 6 and awarded Mr Personality was Jeremy Melkonian, an inspirational competitor who lost a leg in a traffic accident a few years ago. Mostafa Dabbous was named Mr Photogenic. Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 is Brooke Bruk-Jackson

Brooke Bruk-Jackson edged out 11 other finalists to be crowned Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 on Saturday, September 16 at Harare Hippodrome. The 21-year-old model will now prepare to represent Zimbabwe at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this December. It will be her country's first participation in over two decades. Amanda Mpofu and Nokutenda Marumbwa were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "My heart is full of joy and gratitude. Dane County representative Alexis Loomans was crowned Miss Wisconsin USA 2023 during the state final held on Sunday, May 7 at the Fond du Lac Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old native of Waunakee is an ambassador for Jovani Fashions and currently pursuing a degree in political science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Not new to pageantry, Alexis is a former Miss Wisconsin Teen USA titleholder. She now succeeded last year's winner Hollis Brown and will now prepare to represent Wisconsin at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada this fall.
