Christi McGarry, the former first runner-up of Miss Intercontinental 2015, has been officially appointed as Miss Universe Philippines - Taguig 2024. The 33-year-old Filipino-American model and TV personality will proudly represent Taguig in the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2024 competition. Christi was a fellow contestant of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach in Binibining Pilipinas 2015. She was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2015 and had the honor of representing the Philippines in the Miss Intercontinental 2015 pageant held in Germany. Making history, she became the first Filipina to represent her country twice in the same international pageant. Reigning Miss Universe Thailand and Mis Universe 2023 first runner-up Anntonia Porsild reunited with Michelle Dee when she touched down in the Philippines for the first time on Monday, January 29.
