Miss Universe Philippines - Cebu 2024 is Kris Tiffany Janson


Kris Tiffany Janson, representing Cebu City North, was crowned Miss Universe Philippines - Cebu 2024 on Saturday, February 3 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino.

The 34-year-old model edged out 19 other contestants to win the regional competition. She will now prepare to represent Cebu at Miss Universe Philippines 2024.

Apart from winning her title, she also bagged several coroporate and major awards such as Miss Oro Galleria, Miss Myra Standout Beauty, Miss Esteem Medica, Best in Evening Gown, and Miss K & L Philippines.

No stranger to pageantry, Kris was a winner of Miss Cebu 2009 before competing in Binibinibing Pilipinas 2014 where she won Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2014. She participated Miss Intercontinental 2014 in Germany and placed second runner-up.

The glittering Miss Universe Philippines - Cebu 2024 final was hosted by Miss Universe Philippines 2021 second runner-up Steffi Aberasturi with actor and model Andrew Wolff.

Natasha Testa of Lapu-Lapu City clinched the title The Miss Philippines - Cebu 2024 and is expected to compete in The Miss Philippines 2024 pageant.

The representatives of Bantayan Island, Juvel Ducay, Minglanilla, Nica Zosa Nabua, and Talisay City, Mary Josephine Paaske, were awared the titles Miss Universe Philippines - Cebu Tourism, Carity, and Heritage 2024, respectively.

Carcar City's Mipsen Calves finished as first runner-up while San Fernando's Thelma Suzanne Dayao was the second runner-up.

Miss Michigan USA 2024 is Alma Cooper

Miss Okemos, Alma Cooper was crowned Miss Michigan USA 2024 on Sunday, April 21 at McMorran Entertainment Center in Port Huron, Michigan. The 22-year-old scholar, advocate and US Army officer will now prepare to represent Michigan at Miss USA 2024 in Hollywood, California this August. Alma holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point. The second lieutenant officer is also a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, currently pursuing her master's degree in data science at Stanford University in California. She succeeds last year's winner, Alexis Fagan-Williams. The 27-year-old Mexican-Filipina beauty from Oahu will now prepare to represent Hawaii at Miss USA 2024 in Hollywood, California in August. Miss Greater Bridgeport, Shavana Clarke was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2024 on Sunday, April 14 at Marriott Hartford Windsor Airport in Windsor, Connecticut. The 29-year-old model and mental health advocate will now prepare to represent the state of Connecticut at Miss USA 2024 in California this August. Ukraine's Angelina Usanova crowned Miss Eco International 2024

Angelina Usanova from Ukraine was crowned Miss Eco International 2024 on Sunday, April 28 at the Triumph Luxury Hotel in Cairo, Egypt. The 26-year-old singer-songwriter bested over 40 other contestants to win the international title. She succeeds last year's winner from Vietnam, Nguyen Thanh Ha. Chantal Schmidt of the Philippines was announced first runner-up while Nikita Dani of Canada, Fabiane Alcarde Goia of Brazil, and Valerie Avril of Indonesia were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. This year's event marked the 9th edition of the Miss Eco International pageant. It was also the first time for Ukraine to win the competition. Miss Universe Germany 2024 is Pia Theissen

Pia Theissen was crowned Miss Universe Germany 2024 on Sunday, April 28 at Living Hotel de Medici in Düsseldorf. The 25-year-old social worker, occupational therapist and yoga teacher from Cologne will now prepare to represent Germany at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico later this year. Annabelle Keller and Ilke Filiz were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Angelina Matic, Jennifer Monreal, and Tatjana Genrich rounded out the Top 6 finalists. Miss Universe Netherlands' national director Milou Verhoeks, reigning Miss Denmark Nikoline Uhrenholt Hansen, and former Miss Universe Germany Soraya Kohlmann were among the judges. The new Miss Universe Germany succeeds last year's winner  Helena Bleicher , who participated in Miss Universe 2023 last November in El Salvador. The Miss Philippines Earth 2024 Beach Wear Competition was held on Thursday, April 25 in Borongan City, the capital of the province of Eastern Samar. Sam Samara of Makati City bagged the gold medal while the representatives of Iligan City, Kristel Codas, and Matanao, Davao Del Sur, Irha Mel Inutan Alfeche were awarded silver and bronze, respectively. Mister Supranational South Africa 2024 is Fezile Mkhize

Former Mr World South Africa, Fezile Mkhize, was officially announced as Mister Supranational South Africa 2024 on Saturday, April 27 at Asteria Group Holdings in Pretoria. The 33-year-old medical doctor and television presenter succeeds last year's winner  Tylo Ribeiro and will now prepare to represent South Africa at Mister Supranational 2024 in Poland this July. Hlumelo Matsha was named first runner-up while Michael Benevolent finished as second runner-up. The new Mister Supranational South Africa hails from Port Shepstone in KwaZulu Natal and is now based in Johannesburg.
