Maria Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025 on Friday, May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The 27-year-old from  Candelaria bested 65 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. No stranger to pageantry, Ahtisa is a former  Binibining Pilipinas International titleholder who went on to place first runner-up at the Miss International 2018 competition in Japan. She eventually joined Miss Universe Philippines 2024 and finished second runner-up. The national organization then awarded her the title of Miss Cosmo Philippines. In October last year, she was sent to compete in the inaugural edition of the Miss Cosmo pageant in Vietnam where she made the Top 10. Ahtisa Manalo was crowned Miss Cosmo International Philippines 2024 in a ceremony following the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 competition on Wednesday, May 22 in Pasay City. The first-ever Miss Cosmo Philippines will now represent her country at the Miss Cosmo 2024 pageant, the inaugural edition, in Vietnam. Miss International 2018 first runner-up Maria Ahtisa Manalo has been officially revealed as Miss Universe Philippines - Quezon Province 2024 on Saturday, January 27. The 26-year-old beauty will now represent Quezon Province in the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2024 competition. No stranger to pageantry, Ahtisa joined Binibinig Pilipinas 2018 where she clinched the Binibining Pilipinas International (Miss International Philippines) title.
