Ahtisa Manalo to represent the Philippines at Miss Cosmo 2024


Ahtisa Manalo was crowned Miss Cosmo International Philippines 2024 in a ceremony following the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 competition on Wednesday, May 22 in Pasay City.

The first-ever Miss Cosmo Philippines will now represent her country at the Miss Cosmo 2024 pageant, the inaugural edition, in Vietnam.

Hailing from Quezon Province, the 26-year-old entrepreneur is a former Binibining Pilipinas International (Miss International Philippines) who placed first runner-up at Miss International 2018 in Tokyo, Japan.

A top favorite to win this year's Miss Universe Philippines title, Ahtisa finished as second runner-up to unexpected but deserving winner from Bulacan, Chelsea Manalo.

Based in Vietnam, Miss Cosmo is the newest international pageant founded by Unimedia and its first edition is set to take place in Ho Chi Minh City later this year.

With the slogan "Impactful Beauty", the pageant aims to create a platform to empower women around the world, where they can raise their voices and exert their influence to make the world a better place.

Asia Rose Simpson from Quezon City was crowned Miss World Philippines 2026 during the national final of the pageant held on Tuesday, February 3 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The 18-year-old Filipino-American beauty also bagged the Best in Swimsuit, Best in Talent, and Beauty with a Purpose award. She succeeded Miss World 2025 Top 8 finalist and Miss World Asia Krishnah Gravidez from Baguio City. Anne De Mesa from Manila and Gabrielle Fuentes Galapia from Pampanga were named the first and second princesses, respectively. Miss Universe Germany 2022 is Soraya Kohlmann

Soraya Kohlmann was crowned Miss Universe Germany 2022 in a casting event held on Saturday, July 2 at Holiday Inn Hotel Düsseldorf-Neuss. The 24-year-old former Miss Germany (2017) and business owner who hails from Leipzig succeeds last year's titleholder Hannah Seifer. She will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Universe 2022. Mona Schafnitzl and Roxanna Saiedeh were the rest of the Top 3 finalists while Jelena Tontic and Maren Tschinkel completed the Top 5. Gia Soleil Espinoza of Texas was crowned Miss Earth USA 2026 in a national competition held on Saturday, January 3 at Rosen Centre in Orlando, Florida. Varvara Yakovenko beat over 50 other contestants to win Miss Intercontinental 2025 on Thursday, January 29 at V Hotel Sahl Hasheesh in Egypt. The 18-year-old model became the fourth woman from Russia to hold the international beauty title. She succeeds last year's winner María Cepero from Puerto Rico. Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
