The Reina Hispanoamericana 2022 "Gala de la Belleza" took place on Monday, September 20 at the Radisson Hotel Santa Cruz in Bolivia. A total of eight sponsored special awards were given out including Miss Photogenic, Best Smile, Top Model, and Best Silhouette. Brazil's Guilhermina Montarroyos bagged three of the awards. Reina Hispanoamericana 2022: Guatemala wins Best in National Costume

Guatemala's Camila Riveiro was awarded Mejor Traje Tipico (Best in National Costume) during the Reina Hispanoamericana 2022 national costume competition held on Sunday, March 19 in Porongo, Bolivia. The winning national costume was designed and created by the talented Guatemalan artist and costume designer César Alejandro Portillo. Rounding out the Top 7 costumes came from Bolivia (María Jesús Jimenez), Brazil (Guilhermina Montarroyos), Ecuador (Heather Ashley Valdez Yepez), Mexico (Diana Robles), Puerto Rico (Ediris Joan Rivera), and Venezuela (Adriana Pérez). Following the arrival of the 29 contestants vying for Reina Hispanoamericana 2022, an official presentation took place on Monday, March 13 at the Radisson Hotel in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Standouts were the representatives of Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Haiti, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, and the USA. Prior to the red carpet presentation, the contestants earlier received their official sashes with the names of the countries or territories they represent. The final competition will be held on Saturday, March 25 at the Salón Sirionó Fexpocruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Mexico's Andrea Bazarte will crown her successor at the end of the event. Reina Hispanoamericana 2022: Meet the 29 contestants

Reina Hispanoamericana 2022, the 31st edition of the Reina Hispanoamericana pageant, will take place on Saturday, March 25 at the Salón Sirionó Fexpocruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. The competition was supposed to be held last November but had to be postponed due to political and civil unrest in the host country. A total of 29 contestants from various countries and territories, of Spanish language or descent, are vying for the international title. Three new countries making their debut in the pageant include Germany, Equatorial Guinea, and Italy. Reina Hispanoamericana 2021 Andrea Bazarte of Mexico will pass the crown to her successor at the culmination of the upcoming event. Reina Hispanoamericana 2022 final postponed to February 2023

Due to political and social conflicts in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, the Reina Hispanoamericana 2022 final competition has been moved to February 4, 2023. "Our organization wishes above all to safeguard the safety of the candidates and that they fully enjoy their stay in our wonderful city. This situation is getting out of hand. We appreciate your understanding," said Promociones Gloria in an official statement. The 31st Reina Hispanoamericana edition was supposed to be held from October 23 to November 5. There are over 20 contestants already confirmed to compete for the international title currently held by Andrea Bazarte of Mexico. Reina Hispanoamericana Chile 2022 is Anita-María Rojas

Anita-María Rojas has been officially announced as Reina Hispanoamericana Chile 2022 on Monday, September 12. The 22-year-old figure skater and journalism student will represent Chile at Reinahispanoamericana 2022 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia from October 23 to November 5. She replaced Antonia Figueroa who was appointed for the tile in June. No stranger to pageantry, Anita represented La Floria in Miss Universo Chile 2020 where she obtained the title Nuestra Latinoamericana Chile. Last April, she was crowned Miss Piel Dorada Internacional 2022 in Chiapas, Mexico. Miss Bolivia 2022: Cochabamba's Fernanda Pavisic to represent Bolivia at Miss Universe 2022

The Miss Bolivia 2022 pageant took place on Saturday, July 16 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. A total of 24 contestants competed for the three national titles at stake. Fernanda Pavisic, a 23-year-old psychology student from Cochabamba, was crowned Miss Bolivia Universo 2022 and will represent her country at the 71st edition of the Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2022) pageant. Camila Sanabria of Santa Cruz was named Miss Supranational Bolivia 2022 while María Jesús Jimenez of Tarija clinched the title Miss Bolivia Hispanoamericana 2022. Gwendolyne Fourniol of Negros Occidental wins Miss World Philippines 2022

Gwendolyne Fourniol, representative of Negros Occidental, bested 35 other contestants to win the Miss World Philippines 2022 title at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Sunday, June 5. The 21-year-old Filipino-French beauty pursued a degree in economics from the Oxford Brookes University in London. She is an advocate for education and has been working with a non-profit organization that sends underprivileged kids to school. "As an advocate of education, I do agree that during the pandemic we have suffered the most, but the children who have a lack of access to education have suffered the greatest. And working hand in hand with ERDA Foundation who empowered the marginalized Filipino, I believe by uniting benefactors and encouraging our children and allowing them to go back to school, especially during this pandemic will make this world a better place because education is the greatest weapon against poverty," she answered during the question and answer portion. Andrea Bazarte of Mexico bested 26 other contestants to be crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2021 in a gleaming competition held on Saturday, October 30 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. The 28-year-old model who holds a degree in marketing was able to achieve a historic back-to-back win for her country. She succeeds her fellow Mexican, Regina Peredo. Panama's Ana Lucia Tejeria was named Virreina Hispanoamericana 2021 while Colombia's Maria Alejandra Vengoechea and Venezuela's Andrea Romero were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Andrea Romero has been officially named by Osmel Sousa as Reina Hispanoamericana Venezuela 2021 on Tuesday, June 1. The 24-year-old professional model holds a bachelor's degree in international studies. She was first runner-up in the first season of the czar of beauty's El Concurso. "Thankful to God for being present in these wonderful achievements of my life, I can't stop crying because of the emotion I feel," Andrea shared online. "This is such a great responsibility to be Venezuela before the world. This achievement also belongs to my family, friends, and all those people who have always supported me," she added.
