Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 is Dia Maté of the Philippines


Dia Maté of the Philippines was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 on Sunday, February 9 at the Salón Sirionó, Fexpocruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.

The 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Cavite became the second Filipina to win the international pageant next to Teresita Ssen Marquez who won in 2017.

She also bagged the Best in National Costume award. Her costume "Banaag" by Ehrran Montoya was inspired by her country's baroque churches recognized in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Sofia Férnandez of Venezuela was named Virreina while Sharon Gamara of Colombia, Carolina Barroso of Spain, Nikita Palma of Peru, Julia de Castro of Brazil, and Zuzanna Balonek of Poland were the runners-up.

Completing the Top 12 were Estefanía Ibarra of Bolivia, Catalina Murillo of Costa Rica, Dagmar Prieto of Ecuador, Elizabeth Blanco of Guatemala, and Daniela Cardona of Mexico.

This year's competition marked the 33rd edition of the annual Reina Hispanoamericana pageant. Maricielo Gamarra of Peru crowned her successor at the end of the event.

Russia's Varvara Yakovenko wins Miss Intercontinental 2025

Varvara Yakovenko beat over 50 other contestants to win Miss Intercontinental 2025 on Thursday, January 29 at V Hotel Sahl Hasheesh in Egypt. The 18-year-old model became the fourth woman from Russia to hold the international beauty title. She succeeds last year's winner María Cepero from Puerto Rico. Lorena Suárez Lara from Cuba was named first runner-up while Vanessa Natcha Wenk of Thailand and Faidha Kassim Kivuyo of Tanzania were the second and third runners-up, respectively. The rest of the Top 7 were Christina Vanhefflin of the Philippines (fourth runner-up), Kika Marques Das Neves of Ecuador (fifth runner-up), and  Brilliant Mukanda Maroko of Kenya (sixth runner-up). Anna Blanco Flores from Venezuela beat over 30 other contestant to win Miss Charm 2025 on Friday, December 12 in Ho Chi Minh City. The 25-year-old singer-songwriter and model was crowned by her predecessor Rashmita Rasindran from Malaysia. She became the first Venezuelan woman to hold the international beauty title. Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Saturday, September 13 at Sala Placido Domingo (Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas) in Zapopan, Jalisco. The 24-year-old designer from Teapa, Tabasco triumphed over 30 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Pastry chef and model Swann Lavigne from France was proclaimed Mister Supranational 2025 on Saturday, June 28 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. The 25-year-old bested 37 other contestants to win the international male pageant. He succeeds last year's winner Fezile Mkhize from South Africa. Kimberly de Boer of Curacao beat 27 other contestants to win Reina Hispanoamericana 2026 on Saturday, February 21 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The 21-year-old artist and painter from Willemstad became the second woman from Curacao to hold the title next to Evalina Van Putten (2011). Marta Isabel Otero of Colombia placed second (Virreina Hispanoamericana 2026) while Criselys Garcia of the Dominican Republic and Melissa Payró of Mexico were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. New show format for Miss Universe 2024, important details announced

The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) held a press conference on September 4 in Mexico to announce important details of the upcoming 73rd Miss Universe pageant. This year's historic edition, to be held at Arena CDMX in Mexico City on November 16, will introduce a new show format. From around 130 contestants, only 30 will be announced as semifinalists, followed by the Top 12, Top 5, and the winner. The Top 30 will include four continental queens and one fan vote winner. The contestants are expected to arrive in Mexico during the last week of October and will be staying at their luxurious official residence, the Presidente InterContinental. They also will be touring various destinations around the country as part of their hectic schedule of events and activities.
