One of the prominent members is reigning Miss Universe from the United States R'Bonney Gabriel who just landed in Johannesburg for a week-long trip to the rainbow nation as a special guest of the national pageant. Gugulethu Mayisela was crowned Miss Grand South Africa 2023 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 22 at the Atterbury Theatre in Pretoria. The 19-year-old model from Johannesburg bested 23 other competitors to win the title. She succeeds last year's winner LuJuan Mzyk and will now prepare to represent South Africa at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam this October. "What an honour.
