The highly anticipated Miss Grand International 2023, the 11th edition of the Miss Grand International pageant is about to begin in Vietnam. Over 70 contestants from around the world are expected to arrive in Hanoi this week to officially kick off their three-week-long pre-pageant activities. The final show is set to be held on October 25 at the Phú Thọ Indoor Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City. Isabella Menin of Brazil will crown her successor at the end of the event. Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 is Bui Quynh Hoa

Bui Quynh Hoa triumphed over 17 other competitors to win Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 on Friday, September 29 at the Hoa Binh Theater in Ho Chi Minh City. The 25-year-old model and entrepreneur from Hanoi will now prepare to represent Vietnam at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador this coming November. Nguyen Thi Huong Ly and Trinh Thi Hong Dang were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Emma Le, Lydie Vu, and Pham Thi Anh Thu were the rest of the Top 6 finalists. H'Duyen Bkrong, Huynh Kim Anh, Mai Phuong Thao, and Nguyen Thi Le Nam rounded out the Top 10 semifinalists. This year's competition marked the first edition of the national pageant under the new license holder — news anchor and former pageant contestant Quỳnh Nga. The Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 pageant held its swimsuit competition on Saturday, September 23 at The Grand Ho Tram in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Wearing their official swimsuits from XITA by Katy Nguyen, the Top 18 contestants fiercely strutted the runway to earn a spot in the Top 5. At the end of the event, the five beauties who impressed the judges were Pham Thi Anh Thu (Ha Nam), Nguyen Thi Huong Ly (Gia Lai), Trinh Thi Hong Dang (HCMC), Lydie Vu (HCMC) and Bui Quynh Hoa (Hanoi). Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 Top 18 officially introduced, new crown unveiled

The Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 pageant has officially kicked off in an official press conference held on Monday, September 18 at the Lotte Hotel Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City. Eighteen contestants selected to compete for this year's title have been officially introduced to the media — Huong Ly, Emma Le, Lydie Vu, Lan Anh, Diem My, Kim Anh, Quynh Nhu, Le Nam, Anh Nguyet, Mai Phuong Thao, Nhat Le, Dinh Thi Hoa, Bui Quynh Hoa, Pham Thu, Thu Uyên, Ngoc Mai, Hong Dang, and Lan Anh va H'Duyen. A new crown called "Life in the Sunrise" by Jessica Jewelry was also unveiled during the special event. It was crafted with natural topaz and sapphire, and worth over 2 billion Vietnamese dong. The winner of Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, to be crowned later this month, will represent the Southeast Asian country at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador this November. Miss Earth 2023 to be held at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center on December 22

Miss Earth 2023 grand final and coronation show has been officially announced to take place on December 22 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. SECC, the city's largest convention center, is conveniently located near a big local shopping center. It comprises four indoor exhibition halls totaling 40,000 square meters, an additional outdoor exhibition space of 15,000 to 20,000 square meters, and one 2,000-seat convention center. The 23rd edition of the Miss Earth pageant, to be organized by Carousel Productions and TNA Entertainment, is expected to welcome more than 80 contestants from across the planet to compete for the highly coveted international title. Pre-pageant events and activities are happening from November 28 until December 21. Further details including the schedules, hosts, and official hotel have yet to be revealed. The schedule of events and activities for Miss Grand International 2023 has been officially announced by Miss Grand International Organization on Monday, September 4. Around 70 contestants from around the world are expected to arrive on October 3 and will be checking in to Grand K Hotel Suites in Hanoi, Vietnam. More than three weeks of jam-packed pre-pageant activities await them including photoshoots, a welcome gala dinner, sightseeing tours, rehearsals, preliminary events, and more. For the first time, the organization introduces the Grand Voice Award to showcase beauties with incredible singing voice talent. An audition will happen on October 8, round two on October 17, and the final is set for October 22. The highly-anticipated annual swimsuit competition will be on October 12 in Da Nang while the national costume competition on October 20, the preliminary competition on October 22, and the grand coronation show on October 25 will take place at the Phú Thọ Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi

Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 is Le Hoang Phuong

Le Hoang Phuong was crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 in a national competition held on Sunday, August 27 at the Phu Tho Indoor Sport Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City. The 28-year-old fashion model and architecture graduate from Khanh Hoa province bested over 40 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Doan Thien An and will now prepare to compete in the Miss Grand International 2023 pageant to be held in her country this October. Bui Khanh Linh was named first runner-up while Truong Qui Minh Nhan, Le Thi Hong Hanh, and Dang Hoang Tam Nhu were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Reigning Miss Grand International Isabella Menin from Brazil graced the glittering event as a special guest with MGI executives Nawat Itsaragrisil and Teresa Chaivisut. No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Grand Vietnam is a former contestant at Miss Universe Vietnam. She placed in the Top 5 in 2022 and bagged the Best in Swimsuit and Best Face in 2019.

After 15 years, Hoa Hậu Hoàn Vũ Việt Nam (formerly Miss Universe Vietnam) by Unicorp and Unimedia has welcomed a new era as it officially launched a new edition, new identity, and new title for its competition. Huynh Tran Y Nhi was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2023 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 22 at MerryLand Quy Nhon. The 21-year-old business administration student from Binh Dinh bested 39 other competitors to bag the national title. She was also announced the winner of the Top Model challenge. Dao Thi Hien and Huynh Minh Kien were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Bui Khanh Linh and Tran Thi Thoa Thuong rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Miss Earth 2023 final will be held on December 16

Carousel Productions, Inc., organizers of the Miss Earth pageant officially announced that the Miss Earth 2023 final will be held on December 16 in Vietnam. The official announcement was posted on Friday, July 21 on the pageant's official social media pages. Vietnam hosted Miss Earth for the first time in 2010. The 10th-anniversary edition was held at the Vinpearl Land Amphitheater in Nha Trang where India's Nicole Faria emerged as the winner. "ME Loves TREE" will be the theme of this year's pageant which is expected to be held in Lam Dong. More than 80 countries are expected to participate and so far, more than 30 contestants have been confirmed with more to be announced in the coming months. This year's premier international beauty and environmental event awaits the anticipated debut of Mozambique and the return of Fiji, Honduras, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Liberia, Nicaragua, and Paraguay. Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 was officially launched in a special press conference held on Wednesday, June 19 at Caravelle Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City. Reigning Miss Earth Mina Sue Choi of Korea was honored as ambassador during the event organized by TNA Entertainment under the leadership of the entrepreneur, actress, and president of Miss Earth Vietnam Truong Ngoc Anh. The national competition will kick off official casting in August and the winner is expected to participate in the Miss Earth 2023 to be held in the country this December. Reigning Miss Earth Mina Sue Choi touched down in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on Sunday, July 16 for her first official visit to the country. The 25-year-old Korean beauty was warmly received by TNA Entertainment headed by businesswoman, executive producer, and actress Truong Ngoc Anh. Mina will be a special guest in a press conference for Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 this Wednesday, July 19 at Caravelle Saigon. She is also expected to take part in social and promotional activities for the national competition. To recall, Miss Earth 2022 won her title from a field of over 85 contestants from all over the world last November in the Philippines.
