Hanoi's Phan Phuong Oanh is the new Miss World Vietnam

Phan Phuong Oanh was proclaimed the winner of the Miss World Vietnam 2025 pageant held on Sunday, March 29 in Ho Chi Minh City. The 23-year-old international business graduate from Hanoi bested 46 other contestants to clinch the coveted national title. Le Phuong Khanh Nhu and Truong Tam Nhu were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Reigning Miss World Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand and Miss World CEO Morley CBE were special guests at the event. During the show, Vietnam was officially announced as the host country for the 73rd Miss World (Miss World 2026) to be held this summer. Vietnam to host the 73rd Miss World competition this summer

Vietnam, the land of the "Ascending Dragon", has been revealed as the official host country of the 73rd Miss World (Miss World 2026) competition. The official announcement was made during the Miss World Vietnam final on March 29 by Miss World CEO and Chairperson Julia Morley CBE and representatives of Sen Vàng, the local organizers and co-producers of the event. According to the organizers, this year's competition will be held from August 9 in Hanoi until the final on September 5 in Ho Chi Minh City where the reigning queen Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand will crown her successor. Transgender woman Nguyen Huong Giang to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe 2025

Former Miss International Queen winner Nguyen Huong Giang has been officially announced on Wednesday, September 25 as Miss Universe Vietnam 2025. The 33-year-old model, singer and actress from Hanoi made history as the first ever transgender woman to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe. Huong Giang rose to prominence when she joined the fourth season of Vietnam Idol. She also competed and won The Amazing Race Vietnam 2014 with her ex-boyfriend Criss Lai. One of her proudest achievements in pageantry was winning Miss International Queen 2018, a prestigious beauty pageant for trans women in Pattaya, Thailand. The new Miss Universe Vietnam will head to Bangkok, Thailand to compete in Miss Universe 2025 this November. Miss Grand Vietnam 2025 is Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi

Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi was crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2025 on Sunday, September 14 at LaChateau Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. The 21-year-old beauty from Dak Lak triumphed over 34 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Vo Le Que Anh. Nguyen Thi Thu Ngan was named first runner-up while Le Thi Thu Tra, Dinh Y Quyen, and La Ngoc Phuong Anh were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Reigning Miss Grand International Christine Juliane Opiaza from the Philippines graced the glittering event as a special guest. Miss Global 2025 is Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van of Vietnam

Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van from Vietnam was crowned Miss Global 2025 on Sunday, March 9 at the MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi, Thailand. The 33-year-old model hailing from Lam Dong province bested over 60 other contestants to become the first Vietnamese representative to win the international beauty title. Keri-Ann Greenwood of Jamaica was named first runner-up while Ediris Rivera of Puerto Rico, Lindsay Lauren Becker of the USA, and Xena Ramos of the Philippines were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Vietnam's Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy has received a warm homecoming celebration after winning her country's first Miss International last week in Tokyo, Japan. Fans flocked to the international airport in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, November 18 to welcome the 22-year-old beauty from Danang. Vietnam's Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy was crowned Miss International 2024 on Tuesday, November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Japan. The 22-year-old beauty from Da Nang became the first ever Vietnamese woman to become Miss International. She succeeds last year's winner Andrea Rubio from Venezuela. Camila Roca of Bolivia was named first runner-up while Alba Pérez of Spain, Sakra Guerrero of Venezuela, and Sophie Kirana of Indonesia finished as the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Alina Dementjeva of the Czech Republic, Samantha Poole of New Zealand, and Ewa Jakubiec of Poland completed the Top 8 finalists. Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 during the national competition held on Saturday, September 14 at the Phu Tho Indoor Sport Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City. The 28-year-old model from Nam Dinh will now prepare to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. She succeeds last year's winner Quynh Hoa Bui. Nguyen Quynh Anh and Vu Thuy Quynh were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Paris Bao Nhi and Quach Tapiau Maily were the rest of the Top 5 finalists. Mr World Vietnam 2024 is Pham Tuan Ngoc from Hai Phong

Pham Tuan Ngoc was proclaimed Mr World Vietnam 2024 during the national competition held on Saturday, July 13 at Nguyen Du Gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City. The 25-year-old model from Hai Phong beat 28 other contestants to win the national title. He will now represent Vietnam at the Mr World 2024 competition this September. Vo Minh Toai from Binh Dinh was named first runner-up while Dinh Ta Bi from Gia Lai was the second runner-up. This year's event was held under the directorship of Pham Kim Dung, founder and CEO of Sen Vang Entertainment. The 11th Mr World competition is expected to be held this September in Binh Thuan, Vietnam. The host country of the 11th Mr World (Mr World 2024) has been officially announced on Monday, March 18. In an official post on social media, the organizers shared the much-awaited announcement of Vietnam as this year's host country for the prestigious male competition. "Vietnam, Southeast Asia's most diverse nation, the land of the ascending Dragon, will host the 11th edition of Mr World," posted on Mr World's official Instagram page. "The Festival is back with new and exciting features like you have never seen before. With a record number of countries and territories, Mr World is coming to you in September of 2024." Mr World was last held in August 2019 in Manila, Philippines. The reigning Mr World is an aerospace engineer from England, Jack Heselewood.
