Transgender woman Nguyen Huong Giang to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe 2025


Former Miss International Queen winner Nguyen Huong Giang has been officially announced on Wednesday, September 25 as Miss Universe Vietnam 2025.

The 33-year-old model, singer and actress from Hanoi made history as the first ever transgender woman to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe.

Huong Giang rose to prominence when she joined the fourth season of Vietnam Idol. She also competed and won The Amazing Race Vietnam 2014 with her ex-boyfriend Criss Lai.

One of her proudest achievements in pageantry was winning Miss International Queen 2018, a prestigious beauty pageant for trans women in Pattaya, Thailand.

The new Miss Universe Vietnam will head to Bangkok, Thailand to compete in Miss Universe 2025 this November.

Reina Hispanoamericana 2026 is Kimberly de Boer from Curacao

Kimberly de Boer of Curacao beat 27 other contestants to win Reina Hispanoamericana 2026 on Saturday, February 21 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The 21-year-old artist and painter from Willemstad became the second woman from Curacao to hold the title next to Evalina Van Putten (2011). Marta Isabel Otero of Colombia placed second (Virreina Hispanoamericana 2026) while Criselys Garcia of the Dominican Republic and Melissa PayrĂł of Mexico were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. The rest of the runners-up were Tiffany GonzĂĄlez of Puerto Rico (3rd), Camila ChacĂłn of Peru (4th), Emely Barile of Venezuela (5th), and Luz GonzĂĄlez of Nicaragua (6th). Miss Universe Spain 2024 is Michelle Jiménez from Balearic Islands

Miss Islas Baleares, Michelle Jiménez, was crowned Miss Universe Spain 2024 during the national competition held on Wednesday, September 11 in the municipality of Guía de Isora in Tenerife. The 21-year-old model triumphed over 16 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Spain at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. Paula Pérez of Comunidad Valenciana and Ana Rosa Rodríguez of Andalucía were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Lara Doval of Cataluña and Dori Rodríguez of Navarra were the rest of the Top 5 finalists. Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Saturday, September 13 at Sala Placido Domingo (Conjunto Santander de Artes EscĂ©nicas) in Zapopan, Jalisco. The 24-year-old designer from Teapa, Tabasco triumphed over 30 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Miss Universe Argentina 2025 is Aldana Masset of Entre Rios

Aldana Masset was crowned Miss Universe Argentina 2025 on Sunday, May 25 at MansiĂłn Tango in Buenos Aires. The 25-year-old singer and image consultant from the province of Entre Rios beat 27 other contestants to win the national title. Julieta Ricardez of La Pampa was named first runner-up while Judit Grnja of Chaco, Ayelen Torres of La Rioja, Carolina Danieri of Comunidad Extranjera, and Xiomara Menna of Misiones were the second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe 2026 host country and venue officially announced

The Miss Universe Organization has officially confirmed that Puerto Rico will be the host country for the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. Puerto Rican politician Jenniffer GonzĂĄlez ColĂłn also made an announcement in a conference held on Tuesday, September 23 in San Juan. The 75th Miss Universe edition will be held in November 2026 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico JosĂ© Miguel Agrelot, the largest indoor entertainment and sports arena in Puerto Rico. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria KjĂŠr Theilvig from Denmark was present at the conference alongside former winners from Puerto Rico — Deborah Carthy-Deu (1985), Dayanara Torres (1993), Denise Quiñones (2001), and Zuleyka Rivera (2006). Filipino-American Bea Millan-Windorski has recently been appointed as the official representative for the province of La Union at Miss Universe Philippines 2026.
