Mister National 2024 is Swann Lavigne of Rhône-Alpes

Swann Lavigne, representing Rhône-Alpes, was named Mister National 2024 in a national competition held on Saturday, March 16 at Les Ateliers Magiques de Dani Lary, Grande Rue, in Barbières, France. The 23-year-old pastry chef in a 5-star hotel in Val Thorens bested over 20 other contestants to win the title. He is now expected to represent France at Mister International 2024 in Thailand. Thomas Elie of Picardie placed first runner-up while Julien Baker of Languedoc, Gabin Sechaud of Midi-Pyrénées, and Christian Biette of Côte d’Azur were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Tennessee USA 2024 is Christell Foote

Christell Foote, representing Rocky Top, was crowned Miss Tennessee USA 2024 last Saturday, March 9 at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville. The 23-year-old fashion model bested over 50 other contestants to win the state title. She succeeds last year's winner Regan Ringler and will now represent the state of Tennessee at the Miss USA 2024 competition. 11th Mr World host country officially announced

The host country of the 11th Mr World (Mr World 2024) has been officially announced on Monday, March 18. In an official post on social media, the organizers shared the much-awaited announcement of Vietnam as this year's host country for the prestigious male competition. "Vietnam, Southeast Asia's most diverse nation, the land of the ascending Dragon, will host the 11th edition of Mr World," posted on Mr World's official Instagram page. "The Festival is back with new and exciting features like you have never seen before. With a record number of countries and territories, Mr World is coming to you in September of 2024." Mr World was last held in August 2019 in Manila, Philippines. The reigning Mr World is an aerospace engineer from England, Jack Heselewood. Mister Supranational Mexico 2024 is Zait Reza of Coahuila

Zait Reza, representing Coahuila, was proclaimed Mister Supranational Mexico 2024 on Saturday, March 16 at Teatro Clavijero in Veracruz. The 32-year-old actor, TV host and model succeeds last year's winner Luis Carlos Garcia Cuadra. He is now expected to represent Mexico at Mister Supranational 2024 in Poland this July. Alan Salazar Casillas, a 24-year-old model and trainer who represented Mexico City, was named Mister World Mexico 2024. He will compete next in the 11th Mr World  (Mr World 2024), expected to be held in September. More than 32 contestants took part in this year's national competition. Puteri Indonesia 2024 is Harashta Haifa Zahra of West Java

Harashta Haifa Zahra, representing Jawa Barat, was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2024 last Friday, March 8 at the  Plenary Hall of the Jakarta Convention Center. The 20-year-old environmental engineering student bested more than 40 other contestants to win the title. She succeeds last year's winner  Farhana Nariswari. Rounding out the Top 4 finalists, Sophie Kirana Indriyagi, Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari, and Melati Tedja were respectively crowned Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2024, Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2024, Puteri Indonesia Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan 2024. The winners are now expected to represent Indonesia at Miss International 2024 in Japan, Miss Supranational 2024 in Poland, Miss Charm 2024 in Vietnam, and Miss Cosmo 2024, also in Vietnam. 71st Miss World is Krystyna Pyszková from Czech Republic

Czech Republic's Krystyna Pyszková was crowned the 71st Miss World in a glittering festival held on Saturday, March 9 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India. The 24-year-old model and student from Třince bested more than 100 other beauties to win the coveted title. She became the second Czech woman to become Miss World next to Taťána Kuchařová who won in 2006. Aside from modeling, Krystyna is currently pursuing her degrees in law and business administration. She is an advocate for education and is passionate about arts and music. The 71st Miss World was hosted by former Miss World from the Philippines, Megan Young, and Indian filmmaker Karan Johar. This year's spectacular event marked the return of the festival in India after 28 years. The 71st Miss World will take place at India's largest convention center, the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. A total of 112 beauties with a purpose from all corners of the world will compete for the highly coveted title.  The event will be hosted by former Miss World from the Philippines, Megan Young, together with Indian filmmaker and TV personality Karan Johar. 71st Miss World: Tunisia's Imen Mehrzi wins Talent competition

The 71st Miss World Talent Competition final was held during the Beauty With a Purpose gala dinner on Sunday, March 3 at the Aurika, Mumbai Skycity. A total of 14 finalists from 112 contestants took part in the final round where Imen Mehrzi of Tunisia was chosen by the judges as the winner for her rendition of "Skyfall" by Adele. Kaitlyn Clarke of Northern Ireland and Audrey Vanessa of Indonesia placed second and third, respectively. The rest of the finalists were Botswana (Lesego Chombo), Estonia (Adriana Mass), Gibraltar (Faith Torres), Guatemala (Marcela Miranda), Hungary (Boglárka Hacsi), India (Sini Shetty), Ireland (Ivanna McMahon), Mongolia (Bolor Bat-Erdene), Netherlands (Amber Koelewijn), Portugal (Catarina Ferreira), and Wales (Darcey Corria). 71st Miss World: Martinique's Axelle René wins Top Model competition

The 71st Miss World Top Designer and Top Model competition was held last Saturday, March 2 at the Aurika, Mumbai Skycity in Mumbai. Strutting the runway in black dresses brought from their respective countries, the 112 contestants impressed the judges before the decision for the Top 5 from each continent was announced. Axelle René of Martinique won the Top Model competition with her remarkable catwalk performance followed by Nursena Say of Türkiye, Lesego Chombo of Botswana, and Sophia Hrivňáková of Slovakia who were declared the winners for Asia and Oceania, Africa, and Europe, respectively.
