American-Armenian Peggy Garabekian bested nine other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Armenia 2025 in a recently held national competition. The 30-year-old international model and human rights advocate residing in Los Angeles, California will represent Armenia at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. No stranger to pageantry, Peggy has already joined several pageants prior to becoming Miss Universe Armenia. She has competed in Miss Asia USA, Miss United Nations, Miss World America, Miss California USA, and recently won Miss Vizcaya Swimwear. Valeria Baladan Liste was crowned Miss Universe Uruguay 2025 in a national competition held on Wednesday, September 10 at  Hotel Esplendor Cervantes in Montevideo. The 24-year-old model and student representing Montevideo succeeds last year's winner Yanina Lucas. She will now prepare to represent Uruguay at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Carolina Moreira of Cerro Largo and Perla Barrera of Maldonado were announced the first and second runners-up, respectively. Miss New York, Cassandra Donegan, was crowned Miss America 2026 on Sunday, September 7 at the Walt Disney Theater, Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida. The 27-year-old talented singer and actress bested 51 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She succeeds Abbie Stockard of Alabama. Sadie Schiermeyer of Texas was named first runner-up while Paris Richardson of Florida, Audrey Kittila of Georgia, and Emma Terry of Alabama were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Meldra Rosenberg was crowned Miss Universe Latvia 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, September 6 at Monkey Club in Riga. The 23-year-old Latvian-German model triumphed over nine other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Maria Vicinska. Kintija Krastina and Zinaida Tesliuk were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. South Carolina's Tess Ferm bested 51 other contestants to win Miss America's Teen 2026 on Saturday, September 6 at the Walt Disney Theater, Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida. The 18-year-old student and food allergy advocate from Charleston succeeds Peyton Bolling of Arkansas.
