Miss Universe Uruguay 2025 is Valeria Baladan Liste


Valeria Baladan Liste was crowned Miss Universe Uruguay 2025 in a national competition held on Wednesday, September 10 at  Hotel Esplendor Cervantes in Montevideo.

The 24-year-old model and student representing Montevideo succeeds last year's winner Yanina Lucas. She will now prepare to represent Uruguay at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November.

Carolina Moreira of Cerro Largo and Perla Barrera of Maldonado were announced the first and second runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss Universe Uruguay is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in communication, advertising and marketing. She is no stranger to pageantry, having joined last year's competition and also held the title of Miss Latinoamérica Uruguay 2024.

"I do not have enough words to thank what I feel towards those who accompanied me in this process: my family, my friends and every person who with their messages gifted me support and affection along this way," Valeria shared online.

"This dream is becoming reality today because of the discipline, faith and love with which I lived every step of this process. This is just beginning and I am ready to give my best representing my beloved Uruguay on the international stage," she added.

Señorita Colombia 2021 is Valentina Espinosa of Bolívar

Valentina Espinosa, the representative of the Bolívar department, was chosen as the new Señorita Colombia 2021 (Miss Colombia 2021) in a ceremony full of color, music, and a lot of Colombian talent on Sunday, November 14 at the Auditorio Getsemaní del Centro de Convenciones Julio Cesar Turbay Ayala in Cartagena. The 23-year-old social communication and journalism professional triumphed over 24 other beauties to win her national title. The 51 state winners competing for Miss USA 2024 have already been crowned in their respective state competitions. This year's pageant is considered the most diverse in the 73-year history of Miss USA since the Miss Universe Organization changed rules allowing all women from age 18 to compete. Pernambucana Luana Cavalcante was crowned Miss Universe Brazil 2024 in a national competition held on Thursday, September 19 at Teatro Gamaro in São Paulo. The 25-year-old model and actress from the state of Pernambuco will represent Brazil at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. Gabriele Marinho of Alagoas and Maria Fabiana Mata of Rio de Janeiro were proclaimed the first and second runners-up, respectively. Sigríður Ósk Hrafnkelsdóttir, also known as Sigga Ózk, was crowned Ungfrú Ísland 2026 (Miss Iceland 2026) on Wednesday, April 22 at at Gamla Bíó in Reykjavík. The singer-songwriter from Garðabær will now prepare to represent Iceland at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico this November. Aníta Mist Davíðsdóttir was named first runner-up while Elínborg Hrannarsdóttir, Nadía Líf Pálsdóttir, Soffía Ellín Stella Gísladóttir were the second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively. The 27-year-old model and actress will represent Spain at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. The 23-year-old model and actress from Miranda will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico.
