Miss Alto Cafezal, Isabella Menin, was crowned Miss Grand Brasil 2022 (Miss Grand Brazil 2022) on Thursday, July 28 at Teatro da Caesb in Águas Claras, Brasília. The 26-year-old succeeds last year's winner and Miss Grand International second runner-up Lorena Rodrigues and will represent her country at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia this October.  Grabriela Borges of Paraná and Vitória Brodt of Rio Grande do Sul were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while the representatives of Norte-Matogrossense, Bárbara Reis, and Mato Grosso, Maythe Varzoni completed the Top 5. The new Miss Grand Brazil holds a degree in economics and a master's in finance. She speaks fluent English and Spanish and can communicate well in French and Italian. The 25-year-old beauty representing Saitama succeeds last year's winner Konatsu Yoshida and will now prepare to represent Japan at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines. Anna Linnikova bested 24 other finalists to be crowned Miss Russia 2022 in a virtual ceremony held on Monday, July 25 in Moscow. The 22-year-old public relations student and professional model hails from the southwestern Russian city of Orenburg. She succeeds Alina Sanko and is expected to represent her country at the 71st Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2022) pageant, possibly later this year. Anna Budaeva from Chuvashia and Daria Nemaeva from Khabarovsk Region were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Miss Russia is one of the most well-known and prestigious national beauty pageants, which is backed by Russia’s Culture Ministry. A 20-year-old journalism student from Kfarchouba, Yasmina Zaytoun, won Miss Lebanon 2022 in Beirut on Sunday, July 24. Seventeen contestants participated in the national competition which was held after a 4-year hiatus. Maya Reaidy who won in 2018 and went on to compete during the 67th Miss Universe edition in Bangkok, crowned her successor at the end of the event. Vietnam has been officially announced as host country of the 23rd Miss Earth (Miss Earth 2023) competition. The deal between Nova Entertainment President Truong Ngoc Anh and Carousel Production / Miss Earth Executive Vice President Lorraine Schuck was signed at the Gem Center in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, July 18. Reigning Miss Earth Destiny Wagner and Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Coffey were also present during the special event.
