Miss Earth Portugal 2021 is the newly crowned Miss Queen Portugal Gabriella Rodriguez

Venezuelan-born beauty Gabriella Rodriguez was crowned Miss Queen Portugal 2020 in a national competition held on Tuesday, June 15 in Braga.

The 22-year-old model and factory production assistant who represented the district of Viana do Castelo bested 13 other finalists to succeed last year's titleholder Ivanna Rohashko.

Gabriella now holds the title of Miss Earth Portugal 2021 and will represent the southern European country at the Miss Earth 2021 pageant, whose date and venue are yet to be announced.

"There are many emotions I feel at this moment, for me it is a dream come true where effort and persistence took the main role in this journey, which with the support of wonderful people I managed to make a reality," the beauty queen shared online.

"Today I can say with great pride that every effort counts and that only those who do not persist in their dreams and desires won't win, last night was a very special day for me as it is with great honor that I carry the Portugal sash on my chest, a wonderful country, full of beauty, which has given me many opportunities since I arrived here," she added.
