The 58th Femina Miss India pageant was held on Sunday, July 3 at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. A 21-year-old Bharatanatyam dancer from Karnataka, Sini Shetty, bested 29 other contestants to win the title of Femina Miss India 2022. Rubal Shekhawat from Rajasthan and Shinata Chauhan from Uttar Pradesh were respectively named the first and second runners-up while Gargee Nandy and Pragnya Ayyagari completed the Top 5 finalists. Last year's winner and 70th Miss World Top 13 placer, Manasa Varanasi, crowned her successor at the end of the event. The new Femina Miss India holds a degree in accounting and finance, and currently pursuing CFA as a professional course. She will now prepare to represent India at the 71st Miss World pageant. Miss Sud Comoé, Marlène-Kany Kouassi, bested 26 other finalists to be crowned Miss Côte d'Ivoire 2022 on Saturday, July 2 at Sofitel Abidjan. Nassita Diako and Laurel Gnakpa were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Amy Touré and Paule-Nelly Kouamé completed the Top 5. Reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska, Miss World CEO Julia Morley, and Miss World Europe Anna Leitch were special guests during the event. Reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska has arrived in Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire for the first time together with Miss World CEO Julia Morley and Miss World Europe Anna Leitch. They were welcome at the airport by reigning Miss Cote D'Ivoire and Miss World Africa Olivia Yace, and Comici De Cote D'Ivoire President Víctor Yapobi. It was the first time the 70th Miss World Top 3 beauties were together since their competition in Puerto Rico last March. The Miss Supranational 2022 Supra Model of the Year competition also took place on Saturday, July 2 at Hotel Czarny Potok Resort SPA & Conference in Krynica Zdrój. Five winners were announced and will automatically advance to the final at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz on July 15. They are the representatives from Vietnam, Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen, Colombia, Valentina Espinosa, Jamaica, Carisa Peart, Czech Republic, Kristýna Malířová, and Mauritius, Alexandrine Belle-Étoile. Toa Baja representative Elena Rivera was crowned Miss Mundo Puerto Rico 2022 (Miss World Puerto Rico 2022) during the national competition held on Thursday, June 30 at Centro de Bellas Artes de Caguas. Amanda Pérez Solis of Río Grande and Andrea Carolina Rivera of Lares were the first and second runners-up, respectively. A total of 30 contestants competed for the coveted national title and the right to represent Puerto Rico at the 71st Miss World pageant. Last year's titleholder Aryam Díaz Rosado crowned her successor at the end of the event. The new Miss World Puerto Rico is an 18-year-old fashion model and marketing student. Parañaque City representative Myron Jude Ordillano was named Mister International Philippines 2022 at the grand ballroom of Okada Manila on Monday, June 27. The 23-year-old model and aspiring actor edged out over 30 other contestants to win his title. He succeeds the 2019 winner Levin Carl Arguelles. Mark Avendaño of Biñan, Laguna, Michael Ver Anton Comaling of Leyte Province, Kitt Cortez of San Juan City, and Andre John Cue of Cagayan de Oro City were the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The new Mister International Philippines is expected to represent his country in the next edition of the Mister International pageant this October, while the first and second runners-up will respectively compete in Mister Global and Mister National Universe. The Miss Earth 2022 delegates from Estonia, Norway, and Palestine have been announced by the Miss Earth Organization. Miss Earth Estonia 2022 is Liisi Tammoja, a 20-year-old beauty who studies music. She’s into acting, writing, and the entertainment industry. Her advocacy is to fight against air pollution by planting as many trees as possible. Miss Earth Norway 2022 Lilly Sødal is a 19-year-old mental health and sustainable development advocate from Kristiansand. She is into acting, modeling, and the entertainment industry. Miss Earth Palestine 2022 is a fitness, health coach, and entrepreneur, Nadeen Ayoub. The 27-year-old is also a humanitarian who has worked with charities to help children and families facing poverty. In addition, she is working towards promoting environmental awareness in Palestine. Herenui Tuheiava bested nine other beauties to be crowned Miss Tahiti 2022 on Friday, June 24 at Mairie de Papeete in the French Polynesian island's capital city. The 23-year-old communication officer succeeds Tumateata Buisson and she is expected to represent Tahiti at Miss France 2023. US-based beauty Sofia Depassier was crowned Miss Universe Chile 2022 at the Santa Cruz hotel in Colchagua on Saturday, June 25. The Comunidad Extranjera representative is a 24-year-old model, entertainer, and stylist. She is passionate about acting, makeup, and fashion. Sofia will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Universe 2022, possibly later this year. Fuschia Anne Ravena of the Philippines bested 22 other contestants to win Miss International Queen 2022 in Pattaya, Thailand on Saturday, June 25. The 27-year-old business owner who hails from Bogo City, in the province of Cebu, succeeded Valentina Fluchaire of Mexico. Colombia's Jasmine Jimenez and France's Aëla Chanel were the first and second runners-up, respectively. The representatives of Thailand, Kwanlada Rungrojampam, Venezuela, Sofia Salomón, and Vietnam, Phung Truong Tran Dai were the rest of the Top 6 finalists. Completing the Top 11 were Cambodia, India, Korea, Mexico, and Peru. The new Miss International Queen is the third Filipina to win the beauty title next to Kevin Balot (2012) and Trixie Maristela (2015). Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau bested 40 other contestants to win Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 on Saturday, June 25 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City. Le Thao Nhi and Huynh Pham Thuy Tien were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Le Hoang Phuong and Nguyen Thi Huong Ly completed the Top 5 finalists.
