Reigning Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu arrives in Vietnam


Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu arrived in Vietnam together with Miss Universe Organization executives Paula Shugart and Amy Emmerich on Wednesday evening, June 22.

Vietnamese fans flocked to the Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City to welcome the reigning queen for the first time in the country.

The Indian beauty was also welcomed by her Miss Universe sister, Miss Universe Vietnam 2021 Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen together with the Miss Universe Vietnam organizers.


Harnaaz will join former Miss Universe Catriona Gray, who arrived the day after, and Natalie Glebova to judge the final of Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 this Saturday, June 25.

During her first day in the Southeast Asian country, she engaged in official meetings, gave media interviews, and met with the Vietnamese contestants who are vying for the national title.

Miss USA 2025: Meet the contestants

Miss USA 2025, the much-awaited 74th Miss USA pageant will be held on Friday, October 24 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. This year's competition marks the fourth occasion it will take place in Reno after 2019, 2022, and 2023. Melissa Queenie Sapini was officially crowned Miss Universe Haiti 2025 in a special ceremony held on Saturday, October 18 at The Palm Theater (Embassy Suites) in Boca Raton, Florida. The 22-year-old Haitian-American TV host will now prepare to represent Haiti at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Universe Haiti is a former Miss Massachusetts USA. She competed in Miss USA 2024 in Los Angeles, California and made the Top 10.
